Abstract
Le diamètre extérieur D d'un fil ou d'un cable (1) quittant une extrudeuse (5) est saisi de façon continue sur la totalité de sa périphérie au moyen d'un dispositif de mesure (2) et l'épaisseur de paroi de l'isolation (W) l'est également, au moyen d'un dispositif de mesure (3). Les valeurs de mesure sont amenées à un calculateur (10) qui, entre autre, détermine de facon continue la différence entre les épaisseurs de paroi minimale et maximale atteintes (Wmax - Wmin). L'excentricité et l'épaisseur de paroi minimale sont déterminées à partir de cette différence, ainsi que du diamètre extérieur mesuré (D) de l'isolation et du diamètre (d) du conducteur et indiquées dans un appareil (11). La mesure est largement indépendante des variations de sensibilité du dispositif de mesure (3) pour l'épaisseur de paroi de l'isolation.
