------------ Einleitung 1. Der Wettbewerb besteht darin, dass der Teilnehmer versucht, den Ausgang einer bestimmten Anzahl von Fussballspielen vorauszusehen und seinen Tippschein dementsprechend ausfüllt. (z. Bsp. für Belgien = TOTO-Wettbewerb) Dieser Schein ist speziell für diesen Wettbewerb vorgedruckt und wird von den Organisatoren des Wettbewerbs herausgegeben.
2. Die Spiele, die fUr diesen Wettbewerb in Frage kommen, sind im voraus bestimmt.
FUr den Ausgang eines Spieles zu tippen, hat der Teilnehmer 3 Mtlglichkeiten, die auch auf seinem Tippschein angegeben sind. Entweder er tippt auf einen Sieg der erstgenannten Mannschaft oder auf einen Sieg der zweitgenannte Mannschaft, oder aber er ist der Ansicht, das Spiel endet unentschieden. Auf dem Tippschein stehen ihm also pro Spiel und pro Kolonne 3 verschiedene Kästchen zur Verfügung, wobei er jeweils das seiner Meinung nach Richtige ankreuzt.
3. Auf dem normalen Tippschein befinden sich mehrere Kolonnen, so dass dieselbe Spielserie mehrmals getippt werden kann, je nachdem welchen Geldbetrag der Teilnehmer einsetzen will. Das Original des Tippscheines wird an der Annahmestelle abgegeben (+ Einsatz) und der Spieler erhält das Duplikat zurück.
4. Wenn die Spiele nun stattgefunden haben, wird die Gewinnreihe des Wettbewerbs durch Presse, Funk und Fernsehen bekanntgegeben. Der Teilnehmer notiert sich diese Gewinnreihe und vergleicht sie mits seinem Tippschein, Kolonne für Kolonne, um festzustellen, ob er gewonnen hat. Dieser Vorgang des Auswerten nimmt immer eine gewisse Zeit in Anspruch.

M 1) Mit Hilfe des neuen Gerätes soll dieser Vorgang um ein Vielfaches beschleunigt werden. Das Gerät besteht aus einem Gehäuse (1) + Deckel (2), in dem

sich eine bestimmte Anzahl von kleinen Schiebern befinden. (3) 2) Das'Fenster', das sich in jedem Schieber befindet (4), kann drei verschiedene Positionen einnehmen, wie aus beiliegender Zeichnung ersichtlich.
3) Diese drei Positionen entsprechen genau den 3 Kästchen, die der Spieler auf seinem Schein zur Verfügung hat, um den Ausgang der Spiele zu tippen.
(siehe Einleitung 2.) 4) Um seinen Tippschein auszuwerten, braucht der Teilnehmer die Schieber nur in die richtige Position zu bringen (Kein Notieren mehr notwendig. ), das Ge rät wird nun auf den Tippschein gelegt und Kolonne für Kolonne kann jetzt festgestellt werden wieviel Richtige getippt worden sind und zwar folgendermassen : Hat der Teilnehmer ein Spiel richtig getippt, so wird das Kreuzehen, das er in dem dafür vorgesehenen Kästchen gemacht hat (s. Einl. 2. ) durch das Fenster des entsprechenden Schiebers zu sehen sein. Kolonne fUr Kolonne braucht er nur die durch das neue Gerät sichtbaren Kreuzchen zu zählen, um auf Anhieb zu wissen, wieviel Richtige er getippt hat.
5) Die Schieber sind so angefertigt, das für jede Position eine Einrastung vorgesehen ist, sodass ein problemloses und schnelles Verstellen von einer Position in die andere gewährleistet ist.
6) Es ist selbstverständlich, dass die genauen Masse sowohl des Schiebers als auch des Gerätes dem jeweiligen Tippschein angepasst werden müssen. Die Masse des gesamten Gerätes werden so gewählt, dass ein problemloses Positionieren des Gerätes über jeder Kolonne sowohl senkrecht als auch waagerecht schnell und fehlerlos möglich ist.
7) Die Anzahl Schieber, die sich in einem Gerät befinden, entspricht genau der Anzahl Spiele die getippt werden müssen.
8) Der Unterzeichnete behält sich das Recht vor Abmessungen, Bezeichnungen und Anzahl Schieber so zu verändern, dass das Gerät für die in Frage kommenden Tippscheine anderer Länder verwendet werden Kann, da Anmeldungen innerhalb Jahresfrist in anderen Ländern beabsichtigt sind.
9) Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist das Gerät, verwendbar für einen belgischen TOTO-schein (Normal-+ Multischein) im Massstab 2 : 1 abgebildet.

Zusammenfassung Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Gerät, das zum Auswerten von Tippscheinen Verwendung findet. (in Belgien TOTO-Scheine) Es besteht aus einem Gehäuse und dem dazugehörenden Deckel ; in diesem befinden sich eine bestimmte Anzahl kleiner Schieber, die mit einem'Fenster' versehen sind. Die Schieber bzw. die'Fenster'können drei verschiedene Positionen einnehmen, die genau den Positionen (Möglichkeiten) entsprechen, die der Teilnehmer auf seinem Tippschein hat.
