<EMI ID=1.1>
de la tôle de fond de la caisse est constitué par deux systèmes articulés, la déformation en hauteur de chaque système articulé étant réalisée par le déplacement d'un organe de ;
commande tel qu'un système à piston.
<EMI ID=3.1>
<EMI ID=4.1>
<EMI ID=5.1>
<EMI ID=6.1>
<EMI ID=7.1>

<EMI ID=9.1>
<EMI ID=10.1>
<EMI ID=11.1>
<EMI ID=12.1>
<EMI ID=13.1>
<EMI ID=14.1>
<EMI ID = 1.1>
The main patent of July 19, 1976 concerns
a manure spreader consisting of a trailer or semi-trailer towed and characterized in that the bottom of the
crate is likely to move upward in <EMI ID = 2.1>
oe that a rotary spreading member is disposed slightly above the walls of the box.
In the device described in the main patent, the lifting of the bottom of the body is achieved by hydraulic jacks arranged under the bottom plate substantially at the four ends. However, it appeared that this construction, among others, was relatively expensive and
this is why the applicant has made improvements to the spreader forming the subject of the invention intended to reduce the cost of manufacture.
According to the present improvement, the manure spreader is characterized in that the lifting system
of the bottom plate of the body consists of two articulated systems, the height deformation of each articulated system being achieved by the displacement of a member;
control such as a piston system.
<EMI ID = 3.1>
mandating the deformation of the articulated systems are arranged in the axis of the trailer in the extension of one another and are capable of moving in the opposite direction by each driving a slide connected to the foot of the corresponding articulated system, of which the other end is connected to the bottom plate of the trailer.
<EMI ID = 4.1>
arranged in the axis of the trailer above the walls of the body and from which are suspended in diametrically opposed places two angle bars or the like extending over the length of the body *
To better understand the improvement made in the main patent, an improved manure spreader is now described in more detail on the basis of the accompanying schematic drawings, by way of example only, showing in: Figure 1 a longitudinal axial section, and Figure 2 a plan view of an alternative embodiment in the spreading member, on a reduced scale.
As in the main patent, the semi-trailer,
from which the spreader is produced, comprises side walls 1 forming a bottomless box and a tale of
independent reinforced bottom 2 capable of sliding between said side walls.
This bottom plate is called upon to move
bottom up in the crate to constantly supply manure
in contact with the spreading unit during spreading. For this upward movement or this lifting of the bottom plate, the latter is connected at each of two fixed points 3 to an identical articulated system but reversed, consisting of two connecting rods 4, 5 here shaped in the form of U irons
<EMI ID = 5.1>
articulated between them in 6 '. While in each articulated system the connecting rods 4, 5 work on the thrust, the connecting rods
<EMI ID = 6.1>
of each articulated system is connected at a fixed point 7 on
a slider 8, also a U-bar. These sliders 8 are slidably mounted on un.cylindre 9 arranged horizontally
<EMI ID = 7.1>
in the axis of the semi-trailer. In this cylinder 9, two pistons 10 can move under central hydraulic pressure in opposite directions from each other. The rod 11 of each of these pistons 10 is connected outside the cylinder to a flange

12 associated with the corresponding slide 8. To ensure linear movement of the pistons, the sliders 8 are <EMI ID = 8.1>
semi-trailer being coupled to the tractor by a hydraulic pump (not shown) mounted on the drawbar and connected to the
<EMI ID = 9.1>
seen in the chamber of cylinder 9 between the two pistons 10. Under this pressure, the pistons will move away from each other, and their rods there, * by projecting progressively out of the cylinder, will make slide the sliders 8 by means of the flanges 12, also by separating them from one another. By moving forward and backward respectively of the slides 8 driving the pivots 7 with them, the articulated systems are deformed and the points 3 being fixed, the connecting rods and rods 5, 5 'rise upwards and the connecting rods and connecting rods 4, 4 'follow the movement, which causes the lifting of the bottom plate 2 (see for example the position in dotted lines on the left in the drawing).
As in the main patent, the bottom plate
can be lifted only at the front, so as to present an inclined position, a suitable locking device
(not shown) preventing the sliding of the right slide in the drawing. The semi-trailer can thus also be used to transport beets, for example, which are evacuated after removal of the rear side wall 1 by tilting
of the bottom plate. It can still be used for transporting livestock, the bottom plate remaining firmly in place and the
<EMI ID = 10.1>
inclined plane facilitating the loading and unloading of livestock.
<EMI ID = 11.1>
bring the manure into contact with a rotary spreader mounted on the upper part of the body. According to the present improvement, the spreading member is a rotary longitudinal shaft 14, from which are suspended by means of a series of chains 15 two angle irons 16, also arranged longitudinally. The chains 15 are mounted on the shaft diametrically opposed, which explains
<EMI ID = 12.1>
chains. On the width of the body are arranged two of these spreading members, at a certain distance from each other allowing the loading of manure between them, and these spreading members turn in the opposite direction to one of the 'other. The rotary shafts 14 are provided at their ends with shaft ends 17, of which the one arranged at the front is connected to a motor.
<EMI ID = 13.1>
the drawbar.
The two spreading members being rotated, their angle irons 16 will spin at the end of their chains, which will cause the spreading to the left and to the right of the manure box which will come into contact with said angle irons. With the bottom plate lifting simultaneously, all
the manure contained in the crate will come in
in oontaot with said angle irons and will be spread over a; relatively large distance in width.
It may be beneficial to spread manure by
same time backwards. This is why we see in Figure 2 in plan the view of a spreader whose body and bottom have been
<EMI ID = 14.1>
ment on a good part of the body, there is a body <EMI ID = 15.1>
the case and also rotated by a hydraulic motor. (the spreading bodies are represented in aotion).
Of course, one would not depart from the scope of the present improvement in providing the spreading device described above and shown in the appended drawing, one or the other constructive modification falling within the scope of the appended claims. Thus, for example, each articulated system can advantageously consist of a hydraulic cylinder mounted oscillating on the beam 13 and constituting the control member, and of a link connected on the one hand to the head of the cylinder and on the other hand to the bottom plate of the body.
