Abstract
In a central heating boiler, for example, quite a large volume of air is taken in to promote complete combustion of fuel in the burner, while the latter is operating. When it is switched off, the air passes through boiler, cooling the latter, thus forcing an earlier re-starting. To prevent this loss, a pivoting valve is placed in the combustion air intake duct. It will open or close depending whether the burner is on or off. Preferably the valve counterweight is so dimensioned that pressure drop produced by boiler blower, but not the one produced by chimney's draught, is high enough to overcome its weight.

Lorsque le brûleur doit fonctionner, cet apport d'air est indispensable mais, lorsque le brûleur est éteint, l'air froid du fait du tirage de la cheminée passe à travers la chaudière en se réchauffant inutilement avant de passer dans la cheminée et en refroidissant par suite ladite chaudière et l'eau qu'elle contient- Il y a donc trop grande consommation de combustible, puisque le brûleur se rallumera plus rapidement du fait de la baisse de température de l'eau.
Pour obvier à cet inconvénient, il a paru avantageux suivant l'invention de créer un dispositif �conomiseur caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste en un clapet oscillant monté sur l'alimentation en air de combustion du brûleur et dont l'ouverture dépend de l'allumage, et respectivement la fermeture dépend de l'arrêt du brûleur.

Suivant une réalisation avantageuse, l'ouverture du clapet oscillant est produite par un petit piston ou une membrane actionnée par la pression du combustible lui-même coulant de la pompe au brûleur.

REVENDICATIONS

Dispositif économiseur de combustible pour chaudière à mazout ou autre fluide combustible, caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste en un clapet oscillant monté sur l'alimentation en air de combustion du brûleur et dont l'ouverture dépend de l'allumage et respectivement la fermeture dépend de l'arrêt du brûleur.
