<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
coffret.

"These store shelters likely to be stacked and nested."
The invention relates to store cabinets capable of being stacked and of interlocking in particular for display. Known cases of this nature which can be stacked as well as nested or contain boxes must be turned over from * 1800 in order to be able to nest or stack,
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
that is to say that it is not possible to pass without difficulty from the stacking position to the nesting position. The object of the invention is a store cabinet designed in such a way that it suffices to push it along its longitudinal axis, when it is stacked, in order to fit it.
It is thus possible to fit together a stack of boxes in a very short time *
A store cabinet, in particular for display, according to the invention is produced in such a way that the projections which form the stacking surfaces and extend over the height of the side walls inside the cabinet have on the one hand a shape conical and on the other hand an oblique position relative to the bottom of the box, so that the open lower ends of each projection are offset from each other with respect to their closed upper ends.
In the accompanying drawing which shows an embodiment of the invention given above all by way of example @ Figure 1 is a perspective view of a display cabinet according to the invention; Figure 2 is a longitudinal section of the box; FIG. 3 represents two superimposed boxes; and Figures 4 and 5 are respectively a longitudinal section and a cross section of two boxes according to Figures 1 and 2, nested.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
The box shown in the drawing consists in principle of three sheets, one of which forms the bottom 1, the rear wall 2 and the oblique front wall 3 of half height and two side sheets
4 and 5, arranged obliquely with respect to the bottom and joined by spot welding to the portions of the edges 6, 7 and 8 bent at right angles to the bottom of the rear wall and of the front wall. Back wall
2 is profiled to form a gutter? pushed in and an adjacent recess 10 which serves as a handle.
The edge 11 of the rear wall 2 is rolled, which constitutes a reinforcement. De marl the front edge 12 of the front wall 3 is folded down and serves as a handle. A frame 13 spot-welded to the front wall is used for placing labels. The bottom is reinforced in a known manner by longitudinal ribs 14. Similar longitudinal grooves 15 are formed in the side walls 4 and 5 as well as an outer protruding groove 16 which serves as a support when nested. box $ *
The side walls each carry a projecting portion 17 pushed inwards, of conical shape, open at the bottom and closed at the top, and each forming a folding surface 18.
This surface 18 is limited in front by an appendage 19. The axis passing through the middle of the projecting portion 17 sunt an oblique direction with respect to the bottom, that is to say that the open surface of the bottom is offset by from the stacking surface 18 towards the rear wall of the
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
box. The projecting portions 17 are each limited towards the inside of the casing by three walls 20, 21 and 22.
The gutter 9, FIG. 3, serves as a stacking surface for the rear end 23 of the bottom 1 of the box. The front end 24 rests on the surfaces 18 of the two protruding portions 17. The appendages 19 prevent the cabinet from sliding forward inadvertently and the latter is thus supported forward at two points and back along the gutter. 9 ..
When it comes to fitting the boxes $ it is necessary, as shown in figure 4, to pull the upper box forward over the appendages.
19 far enough so that the stacking surfaces 18 can penetrate with the appendages 19 into the open bottom surfaces of the protruding portions
17. The cabinet then descends by sliding along the oblique surfaces 21 and 22 until the ribs 16 come to rest on the equally folded edges 25 of the side walls 4 and 5, preventing the cabinets from continuing to slide. fit together and get stuck *
