<Desc/Clms Page number 8>

The fight against harmful organisms is carried out according to the usual procedures; for example by treating bodies to be protected with the new compounds in the form of powdering or spraying agents, for example in the form of solutions or suspensions prepared with water or suitable organic solvents, such as for example alcohol, petroleum, tar distillates and the like; it is also possible to use aqueous solutions or aqueous emulsions of organic solvents containing the active substances for brushing, spraying or immersing the objects to be protected.
The spraying or powdering agents may contain the inert fillers or the usual marking agents, such as, for example, kaolin, plaster or bentonite or other adjuvants such as waste liquor of sulphite cellulose, cellulose derivatives and the like. , as well as wetting agents and adhesion agents which it is customary to add to increase wetting power and adhesion.
