8 'weergeeft.
In fig.

When using the spacer for the insulation of curved surfaces or pipes, in which insulation plates divided into standing strips are used in a known manner, according to the invention the fastening members along the side to be fastened to the wall to be insulated can also be formed by a strip, whereby the insulation plate strips are preferably slidably arranged between the flexible inner and outer strips.
As a result, an easily attachable, well-insulating and outer jacket is also good for curved surfaces

exemplary examples shown in the drawing are explained in more detail.
FIG. 1 is an exemplary example of a flat wall spacer, while FIGS. 2-6a show details of this construction.
7 and 8 show a curved spacer according to the invention in elevation and cross-section, while fig. 9 shows a variant of fig. 8 in cross-section.
In Fig. 1, the spacer consists of strips of pressed heat-insulating plate with a width adapted to the required insulation thickness. They are provided along an edge at regular distances with fastening members 2 of sheet metal, by means of which they can be fixed, for example by spot welding, to the surface to be insulated, for example a boiler wall, and which fastening members 2 extend only over a short distance. the edge width of the strips 1. Like the fig.
2, 3 and 5, the fastening members 2 each further have a lower surface 3, on which transverse strips 4 lying between the vertical, continuous strips 1 rest, which transverse strips 4 are also provided with a fastening member 5 in the middle, with which they j are connected to the wall to be insulated, as shown in Figs. 6 and
6a. FIG. 4 shows a detail of the fastening of the outer casing composed of metal plates 6. For the fixing of the brakes of these plates 6, the vertical strips 1 are provided with a fixing strip 7 on the outside.
The jacket plates 6 are provided along one vertical edge with holes for screws 8, while the other edge is provided with elongated holes or slots 9 and pressed inwards, so that a smooth wall is formed. The fixation is effected by means of a spacer 10, which tightly tightens the screws 8 and yet allows easy mobility of the underlying plate edge.
For curved surfaces to be insulated, the spacer strips 1 according to Figs. 7 and 8 can be composed of flexible rails 11, 12 with intermediate insulating plates 13, which

In the variant according to fie. 9, the inner rail is replaced by a flat strip 15 passed through the bracket 14 under each insulation plate 13, while the outer rail is replaced by a wire 16 which is passed through a guide bracket 18 provided with a suitable embossing 17, which is attached to the other side of each insulation plate 13 is attached.
This embodiment has the advantage that the spacer can easily be used even with bodies of small diameter, so that no separate spacer rails need be made for different curves. The insulation plates 13 are herein freely slidable over the strip 15, 16, but can also be subsequently connected thereto by spot welding.
The wire 16 can also be replaced with tape material
