ATTACHE POUR COURROIES OU LANIERES TELLES QUE CELLES DES BRACELETS-
MONTRES.-
Cette invention concerne les attaches permettant de fixer une des extrémités d'une courroie ou lanière à une partie de cette courroie ou à son extrémité opposée, voire à un autre objet. Elle a pour objet une attache de ce genre comportant un élément accessoire net et élégant permettant de fixer l'extrémité de la courroie ou lanière, cet élément accessoire tant étudié de manière à protéger et dissimuler l'extrémité de la lanière et à permettre un réglage facile en vue de rattraper la par- tie molle ou flottante de la lanière tout en assurant l'élégance désirable.
Cette attache est applicable à divers types de courroies, lanières, ceintu- res ou sangles mais plus particulièrement aux lanières des bracelets-montres.,
Cette attache perfectionnée telle que la prévoit l'invention est pourvue d'une chape de fixation de la courroie ou lanière ayant une largeur et une épaisseur correspondant approximativement à celles de la lanière qu'il s'agit de fixer dans cette chape, de fagon qu'une extrémité de la lanière se loge assez étroitement dans cette chape, celle-ci étant obturée à une ex- trémité et munie d'une vis, d'un goujon ou d'un organe équivalent amovible pénétrant dans l'espace intérieur de la chape à un endroit lui permettant de s'engager dans un trou de la courroie ou lanièreo
L'attache comprenant la chape de fixation de la courroie, comme il vient d'être dit,
peut avoir n'importe quelle forme désirée, par exemple une forme comportant une partie articulée ou rabattable, un organe de jonc- tion expansible, une boucle ou des organes agissant par pression afin d'ac- coupler la courroie ou lanière à une autre courroie ou lanière ou bien à sa propre extrémité opposée ou à un autre objet, la dite chape étant fixée de toute manière convenable à la partie restante de l'attache.
Dans le dessin schématique annexé est représentée,à titre d'exem- ple,une des réalisations possibles de cette attache.

partie articulée repliable constituant l'un des éléments d'une lanière de bracelet-montre, cette attache étant montrée ouverte.

La fig. 4 est une vue en coupe par la ligne IV-IV de la fig. 3 en supposant que l'extrémité de la courroie ou lanière est adaptée dans la chape .
Comme représenté, l'attache comprend deux pattes 1,2 réunies par un axe de pivotement 2. de manière à pouvoir se replier l'une contre l'autre.
La chape!.:. en forme de boîtier que prévoit l'invention (et qui est destinée à se fixer sur une des extrémités de la courroie ou lanière 5) pivote sur l'extrémité externe de la patte pivotante 2 L'autre patte 1 est coupée dans son extrémité externe d'une fente dans laquelle on enfile une des ex- trémités d'une courroie ou lanière complémentaire 7 qu'on rabat sur elle- même et qu'on fixe en place par une piqûre. Les lanières ± et 7 constituent les éléments de la bande qui fait le tour du poignet pour maintenir le bra- celet-montre.
La chape ± de fixation ou de maintien de la lanière peut être ar- rondie à son extrémité fermée 4a et peut être munie à cette même extrémité d'ergots 8 faisant saillie latéralement assurant le pivotement de la chape / sur la patte associée 2 en pénétrant dans des trous pratiqués dans des oreilles relevées 9 de cette patte 2. Il y a avantage à ce que les axes de pivotement 8 soient constitués par de très petits ergots faisant corps avec la paroi de la chape 4 et obtenus par défonçage du métal. Les oreilles 2 de la patte 2 peuvent coopérer avec des oreilles 10 solidaires de l'autre patte 1 pour assurer un emboîtement flexible,la paire d'oreilles 10 s'en- clanchant par-dessus l'autre paire d'oreilles 2.
Du fait que la chape !.:. se loge en partie dans l'espace compris entre les oreilles 2 solidaires de la patte pivotante 2, l'attache a un aspect élégant puisque les trois élé- ments 1, 2 et !.:. s'appliquent à plat l'un contre l'autre quand l'attache est fermée. On écarte les pattes pivotantes 1 et 2 pour dilater l'attache et déployer la courroie eu.lanière formée des éléments et 7. afin de la déga- ger du poignet ou plus généralement de l'objet entouré par elle.
Une vis 11 de fixation de la bande ou courroie traverse la chape 4 d'arrière en avant et passe par conséquent dans un trou de l'extrémité en- gagée de la courroie ou lanière, de façon à fixer cette dernière dans la cha- pe. La vis 11 est pourvue d'une tête 12 en forme de goutte de suif, de fa- çon à donner à l'ensemble plus d'élégance. La lanière 2, qu'il s'agit de fixer, peut être percée de distance en distance d'une série de trous 13 per- mettant de rattraper le mou ou flottement pouvant se produire au cours de l'usage, afin de réduire les dimensions de la bande en sectionnant une par- tie terminale de la lanière 5 et en engageant la vis 11 dans le trou dispo- nible 13 le plus voisin. Les différents trous .il permettent une sélection pour obtenir la position qui convient le mieux.
La vis 11 est implantée par l'autre côté de la chape dans un pe- tit manchon 14 fileté intérieurement et engagé dans le trou de la lanière 2 de sorte que la paroi du trou de celle-ci porte contre une surface métal- lique lisse et ne risque pas d'être rendue rugueuse et usée par un contact direct avec les filets de la vis 11
La chape!.:. peut être obtenue en rabattant un morceau de feuillard, de façon à ménager une joue avant et une joue arrière. L'une de ces joues peut être munie de rebords latéraux 4b recouvrant et assurant la mise en pla- ce des bords latéraux de la lanière dans la chape 4.
Les détails de réalisation constructive.peuvent être modifiés sans s'écarter de l'invention, dans le domaine des équivalences mécaniques.

As shown, the fastener comprises two legs 1, 2 joined together by a pivot pin 2 so as to be able to fold up against one another.

The strap 2, which has to be fixed, can be drilled from distance to distance with a series of holes 13 making it possible to take up any slack or floating which may occur during use, in order to reduce dimensions of the strip by severing an end part of the strap 5 and engaging the screw 11 in the available hole 13 closest to it. The different holes allow a selection to obtain the most suitable position.
The screw 11 is implanted by the other side of the yoke in a small sleeve 14 threaded internally and engaged in the hole of the strap 2 so that the wall of the hole of the latter bears against a smooth metal surface. and not likely to be roughened and worn by direct contact with the threads of the screw 11
The screed!.:. can be obtained by folding a piece of strip, so as to spare a front cheek and a rear cheek. One of these cheeks may be provided with lateral edges 4b covering and ensuring the positioning of the lateral edges of the strap in the yoke 4.
