Perfectionnements aux appareils d'éclairage à tubes fluorescents.
La présente invention se rapporte aux appareils d'éclairage à tubes luminescents dont tous les accessoires, compre- nant les tubes et l'appareillage nécessaire à leur alimentation, sont logés dans l'enveloppe ou armature de l'appareil. Il est désirable, tant pour l'économie de fabrication que pour l'étanchéité de l'appareil s'il doit être hermétique, de ne prévoir dans l'arma- ture qu'une seule ouverture donnant accès à l'intérieur de l'appa- reil pour le montage et l'entretien des accessoires. L'invention a pour objet principal un dispositif permettant d'accéder facilement à chacun des accessoires par cette seule ouverture, sans autre démontage que celui d'un couvercle si l'ouverture en est munie.
Suivant l'invention, on réunit à cet effet les divers accessoires de l'appareil d'éclairage sur un support commun relié à l'armature de façon pivotante, de sorte qu'un pivotement relatif entre ce support et l'armature permet de présenter devant l'ouver- ture de celle-ci chaque accessoire à volonté.

Dans l'appareil hermétique suivant les Figs. 1 à 3, l'armature se compose de flasques d'about 1 supportant dans des rainures 2 un verre bombé 3 à rebords 4, de parois latérales 5 auxquelles le verre 3 est scellé par ses rebords 3, et d'un cou- vercle 6 à garniture d'étanchéité 6' qui ferme hermétiquement une ouverture de visite 7 ménagée à la partie supérieure de l'appareil.
Afin de dégager cette partie de l'appareil et de permettre d'ouvrir et fermer facilement le couvercle, les moyens de suspension de l'appareil sont prévus sur les flasques d'about 1 qui comportent, par exemple, des oreilles 8 pour la fixation de câbles, tiges ou chaînes de suspension.
Les accessoires de l'appareil, savoir les tubes lumi- nescents 9, leurs sockets 10, et l'appareillage d'alimentation 11 sont réunis sur un support commun 12 pourvu à chaque extrémité d'un tourillon 13 susceptible de tourner dans une portée 14 du flasque d'about 1, concentriquement au verre bombé 3. Pour permettre le montage, le tourillon 13 peut s'effacer-dans une douille 15 du support 12, dans laquelle on le cale au moyen d'une vis 16 après l'avoir engagé dans la portée 14. Celle-ci comporte aussi une vis de calage 17 qui attaque une gorge 18 du tourillon lorsqu'on la

serre pour bloquer le support 12 dans la position voulue.
Le support pivotant 12 occupe normalement la position représentée sur les Figs. 1 et 2, avec les tubes luminescents 9 tournés vers le bas pour rayonner à travers le verre 3 la lumière réfléchie par la face inférieure du support, formant réflecteur.
Dans cette position du support, on peut aisément accéder par l'ou- verture de visite 7 à l'appareillage 11 tourné vers le haut. Pour accéder aux tubes 9 par la même ouverture, il suffit de faire pi- voter le support 12 de 180 , afin d'amener les tubes devant l'ou- verture (Fig. 3) .
L'appareil d'éclairage représentée sur la Fig. 4 dif- fère du précédent en ce que son armature 19, non hermétique, est complètement ouverte à sa partie inférieure 20, formant abat- jour, par l'ouverture de laquelle on peut accéder directement aux tubes 9 et, après pivotement du support 12, à l'appareilla- ge 11. La partie supérieure 21 de l'armature est bombée concen- triquement aux tourillons pour permettre ce pivotement.
En variante, la Fig. 5 représente un appareil d'éclai- rage dont l'armature 22 est encastrée dans une niche 23 d'un plafond ou d'un mur, par exemple. La manoeuvre du support pivo- tant 12 permet d'avoir accès, malgré l'encastrement, à l'appareil- lage 11 qui autrement serait inaccessible...L'ouverture d'accès est normalement fermée par un verre bombé 24 qui, pour la déga- ger, s'efface dans la niche 23 en pivotant concentriquement aux tourillons 13 du support, autour de pivots 25 prévus dans l'ar- mature.
Bien entendu, l'invention n'est pas limitée aux exemples décrits et représentés. On pourrait notamment, dans le cas des Figs. 1 à 3 et 4, suspendre l'appareil dans le prolongement des tourillons 13, de façon que, le support 12 étant fixe, ce soit l'armature qui pivote pour amener son ouverture devant l'un ou l'autre accessoire auquel on veut avoir accès. REVENDICATIONS
1.- Appareil d'éclairage à tubes fluorescents, carac- térisé en ce que les accessoires de l'appareil, comprenant les tubes et l'appareillage d'alimentation de ceux-ci, sont réunis sur un support commun qui est relié de façon pivotante à l'ar- mature de l'appareil, de sorte qu'un pivotement relatif entre le support et l'armature permet de présenter à volonté l'un ou l'autre accessoire devant une ouverture de l'armature.

In the hermetic apparatus according to Figs. 1 to 3, the frame consists of end plates 1 supporting in grooves 2 a curved glass 3 with edges 4, side walls 5 to which the glass 3 is sealed by its edges 3, and a cover 6 with a seal 6 'which hermetically closes an inspection opening 7 provided in the upper part of the device.
In order to release this part of the device and to allow the lid to be easily opened and closed, the means for suspending the device are provided on the end plates 1 which comprise, for example, ears 8 for fixing. of suspension cables, rods or chains.
The accessories of the apparatus, namely the luminescent tubes 9, their sockets 10, and the supply apparatus 11 are brought together on a common support 12 provided at each end with a journal 13 capable of rotating in a bearing 14 of the end plate 1, concentrically to the curved glass 3. To allow assembly, the journal 13 can be erased in a sleeve 15 of the support 12, in which it is wedged by means of a screw 16 after having it engaged in the bearing 14. The pivoting support 12 normally occupies the position shown in Figs. 1 and 2, with the luminescent tubes 9 turned downwards to radiate through the glass 3 the light reflected by the underside of the support, forming a reflector.
In this position of the support, one can easily access through the inspection opening 7 to the apparatus 11 facing upwards. To access the tubes 9 through the same opening, it suffices to pivot the support 12 by 180, in order to bring the tubes in front of the opening (Fig. 3).
The lighting apparatus shown in FIG. 4 differs from the previous one in that its non-hermetic frame 19 is completely open at its lower part 20, forming a shade, through the opening from which one can directly access the tubes 9 and, after pivoting of the support 12 , to the apparatus 11. The upper part 21 of the frame is convex concentrically with the journals to allow this pivoting.
Alternatively, FIG. 5 shows a lighting apparatus, the frame 22 of which is embedded in a niche 23 of a ceiling or a wall, for example. The operation of the pivoting support 12 provides access, despite the fitting, to the apparatus 11 which would otherwise be inaccessible ... The access opening is normally closed by a curved glass 24 which, for to release it, disappears in the niche 23 by pivoting concentrically with the pins 13 of the support, around pins 25 provided in the frame.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the examples described and shown.
