<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

regulating mechanism / engine running. The engine is described below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 is a vertical schematic section passing through the motor axis.
Fig. 2 is a plan view.
Fig. 3 is a view of the lower cover showing the pump.
According to the examination of these figures, it appears due the device comprises in principle a central axis, forming the motor shaft (1) and on which is rigidly fixed a cylinder (2) forming the crankshaft generally used in the engine and is, for this purpose, provided with a sinusoidal groove (3). These members are mounted in a housing (4) comprising a lower cover (5) and an intermediate cover (6). The motor shaft (1) is capable of rotating in bearings suitable for the intervention of three ball bearings (7, 8 and 9). Rollers (10), the journals (11) of which are fixed to the connecting rods (12), move in the oïdal sinus groove (3). The latter are integral with the pistons (13) and are guided in their rectilinear movement which reciprocates with the intervention of the slides (14).
Pistons (13) are contained in the cylinders (15) and are fitted with sealing rings (16) while the cylinders (15) are superiorly capped with cylinder heads (17) fixed thereto by bolts or other known means. the cylinder heads (17) serve as support for the support (18) of the rocker arms (19), the axes of which are mounted on ball bearings (20). These rocker arms (19) are adjustable by means of screws and nuts (21).
On the other hand, in the axis of the cylinder heads (17) are arranged valves (22) returned to their initial position by the coil springs (23.) In the cylinder heads (17) are placed, on one side - tee, the incandescent spark plugs (24) and on the other side the fuel detector (26). The injection pumps (25) are placed

cées on the intermediate cover (6) and their flow is adjustable by the rocker arms (27) a The latter are mounted on pins (28) and controlled by an eccentric cam (29) movable on said intermediate cover (6). The rocker arms (27) are capable of exerting adequate pressure on the tappets (28) which regulate the flow rate of said pumps (25).
The cam (29) is controlled by a flexible lever cable.
As for the injection pumps (25), they are controlled by push-buttons (30) operating by the intervention of a cam (31). The valves (22) are also controlled by a cam (32), which together with the cam (31) is fixed on the crankshaft cylinder (2). On the other hand, the cam (32) controls the push rods (30) coupled to rods (34), which are fixed and adjusted to the rocker arms (19). Central to the cylinder (15) is fixed on the motor shaft (1) a fan (35) for cooling the cylinders (15), which are rigidly held in their initial position by the upper cover (36). In the latter is fixed a ball bearing (9) preventing vibrations of the motor shaft.
The lower end (37) of the latter is conical and thus intended to receive the propeller hub. In the crankshaft cylinders are drilled holes (38 intended to balance and make the said cylinders lighter. These orifices are blocked by plugs (39) fixed in these orifices.
The oil pump (40) is placed on the lower cover (5) on the hub (37) side of the propeller. The pump piston (41) works by the intervention of an eccentric (42) movable on the ball bearing (43), which is also mounted on the motor shaft (1), while the pump (40) works at the suction @@ @@ @@@@@ as at the discharge and, for this purpose, comprises a double ball (45), a spring (46) which are oalés by screws (47).
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
The oil is pumped / through the orifices (48) provided with helical grooves in the crankcase seal (4) and the lower cover (5). So the oil continues its course through the two channels (49) drilled in the lower cover (5) and ends through holes in the center of the motor shaft (1). By a pipe (51) pierced in the moreur shaft (1) the oil can be received in the center of said shaft and is forced to exit by centrifugal force and thereby f @@@@@@ to flow by orifices (52) thus lubricating the cams (31 and 32) as well as the pushrods' (30) and (33) in order, finally, to flow% by. the orifices (53) towards the rollers (10).
At the end of the orifice (51) are drilled holes (54) allowing the lubrication of the ball bearings (8) The flow of oil flowing through the channel (48) to the channel (49) is adjusted by pressure (55) and a stop screw (56) .To lubricate the cylinders (15), pistons (13) and rings. (16) the invention provides a channel (57) pierced in the housing (4). The orifice of the tube (59) opens out at the side of each cylinder (15) at the location of the segments (16) when the piston (13) is in stroke.
Lubrication is adjusted by a spring ball (60) and an adjustable screw (61). The two channels (62) of the cylinders are joined by a double T (63) to the channel (59).
