DESOIÜP TION . ou des nouvellement inventés : Emballage tant le cirage à chaussu- res,que pour le savon mou désinfecté pour la barbe,et de la brosse dans laquelle se place l'emballage,dont le contenu est fourni automatiquement à la brosse.-
Le cirage (pour bottines) est ordinairement emballé en boîtes de fer blanc.
Ce genre d'emballage a des défauts suivants : 1 ,Les boites s'ouvrent difficilement,il faut employer toutes sortes de moyens pour l'ouvrir,soit en frappât avec une brosse

sur le o6uverole,soit en frappant avec la boite même ou les bords de la boite sur la table ou le plancher etc., il arrive assez souvent qu'en ce faisant,la boite s'ouvre brusquement et le cirage tombe dehors en salissant les main.
et les vêtements 2 ,en nettoyant les bottines,on tient le boite ouverte et le ci- rage en contact avec l'air,durcit et ne se met plus régulièrement sur la brosse,il en résulte que la bottine recçoit des couches de cirage inégales,se nettoyer imparfaitement,salit les vêtements les mains et ramasse beaucoup de poussière et 3 , Le prix de cette boite en fer blanc est égal presque à moitié de la valeur intrisèque du cirage qu'elle contient et cet emballage est tou- jours jeté après l'emploi du cirage.-Tour supprimer tous ces dé- fauts est offert le nouvel emballage avec la brosse.
La fig.I représente l'emballage nouvellement inventé pour le cirage; il consiste d'un corps cylindrique en carton dur 1 muni d'un fond à rebords 2,qui glisse densement sur les cotés du corps oylin drique 1.-

On met le cirage dans cet emballage jusqu'au point 4 après que le cirage se refroidit,on colle la boite des deux cotes avec du papier fort,5 et ,papier imbibé d'un liquide apédal,et lui le rendant fort et hydrofuge de aorte que le cirage se trouvera dans une boite hermétiquement fermée. La fig. 2 est présentée la bsse en grandeur naturelle,,ainsi que la coupe de celle-ci.
Elle peut être confectionnée de métal,corne,porcelaine,verre, bois et composition de couleur .Sur la fig.mentionnée on voit la brosse faite de metall.d'un tube rond 7 ayant un bout en forme conique 8 ajusté au tube 7 au moyen d'un roulement mécanique 9.
Dans l'embout(*) 8 se mettent les crains 10 et le tube conique II,ayant une rosette 12,avec trous 13; cette rosette 13 12 ad- hère à la roulette 9 . Pour la solidité du tube Il,ainsi que le crain, on verse dans le bout 8 la composition 14 qui est pré- parée de:colle de corne ou de sabots d'animaux'oolophane, obsidienne,ciment,amidon,et formadoguide, Quand toute cette masse ae refroidit,-elle forme une alliance conforme à l'ébo- mite,aunit avec le crin et adhère fortement au metal. On met dans le tube II le tube de caoutchouc 15 muni du buttoir 16 et la buse payant au bout quelques ouvertures obstruées par le caoutchouc.
Dans le tube 8 (fig.2) de la brosse on met l'emballage contenant le cirage,mais avant de le faire,il est nécessaire d'arracher la fermeture en papier 5 et 6,et renver- ser la boite'c'està dire par le fond en haut,le mettre dans tube cylindrique 7 , on met après sur le fond 2 de cet embal- lage.la rosette-piston 18 (fig.3 et 5) ayant une rainure 19 dans laquelle s'enchâsse la rondelle -piston en caoutchouc 20, garantissant le passage du cirage.ainsi que le passage de l'air.
Afin de garantir qu'il ne tombe pas du tuyau cylindrique 7,-le piston-rosette 18 ainsi que la matière même,-on met sur le tuyau 7 un couvercle 2l,avec un trou 22 (fig.4 et 5) ayant, comme un bec d'une lampe,une rainure de fermeture 23,et un fenêtre 24; le tube cylindrique 7 a des saillies 25 et 26 (fig 2 et 5)et quand le couvercle 21,se met sur le tube 7 et se tourne à droite

ou à gaucheries saillies 25 et 26 entreront dans la rainure 23 du couvercle 21;voir fig.5 et 6.
Quand on a besoin de cirer la chaussure,il suffit d'appuyer avec le doigt la orsette à piston 18,fig,5,que le fond 2 de l'emballage (fig.5)commencera à presser sur le cirage comme un piston et s'appuyra par ses rebords 27 aux parois de l'emballage et,par cela, même,ne laissera en auoune façon,percer le cirage de l'enballage. Le cirage,par suite de la pression de la rosette-piston 18 élargira les la, ouvertures,jusque ici refermées,de buse en caoutchouc 17 et sortira,en forme d'éventail,aux cotés,en mouillant les orins 10 de la brosse.
Quand la pression sur la rosette-piston 18 cessera, la buse en caoutchouc 17 se rétrécira ,les ouvertures se ferme- ront et ne laisseront plus sortir le cirage.-Cette brosse,avec un petit chagement,remplace avantageusement le blaireau à savon- ner pour la barbe,et au lieu du cirage,on met dans le même em- hallage un savon mou désinfectant. lia seie différence dans 1' emballage sera qu'au lieu de fortes fermetures en papier 5 et 6 (fig.(2,ily aura des fermetures en papier hydrofuge.
