BOUCHON-ROBINET POUR CARAFES ET SIMILAIRES
DESCRIPTION OBJET DE L'INVENTION
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
DESCRIPTION DE L'INVENTION
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
Le corps du bouchon est complété par un couvercle rattaché à celuici à travers une charnière du type ressort, qui permet que dans la position ouverte, celle-ci soit disposée dans une situation de 180 par rapport au corps du bouchon, dans le but de ne pas entraver la sortie du liquide lorsqu'on incline l'emballage ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
DESCRIPTION DES DESSINS
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
<Desc/Clms Page number 7>

CAP-TAP FOR CARAFOS AND THE LIKE
OBJECT DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a stopper-stopper, the obvious purpose of which is to serve as a means of closing a container of the bottle or plastic bottle type and allowing the contents to be emptied through a pouring means which makes part of the entire plug and which mates on the neck of the container.
The object of the invention is to provide a plug as indicated above, with effective closure means and means that prevent the pourer can be released from its pressure coupling on the neck of the container when pull on the cap to make the opening.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
On the known model 9103808 we describe a cap consisting of two parts, one acting as a pourer, is coupled inside the neck of the container, while the other acts as a body of the cap and is screwed on the outside the neck of the container, so that by acting on this body of the cap, it moves in the upward or downward direction, according to the direction of rotation applied to it with respect to the neck of the container and, in Consequently, compared to the pourer being mounted or coupled on the neck of the bottle, opening or closing the passage to the liquid through the spout.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Displacements, in the ascending direction during the unscrewing of the plug body or in the downward direction by screwing thereof, are limited by a protrusion on the outer perimeter of said plug body, and a projection on the internal perimeter of the body which is the pourer.
This type of plug has the disadvantage that if, when the maximum opening position is reached, when acting in the ascending direction on the body of the stopper, rotation is continued while effecting an outward displacement of said stopper body. , it can happen to cause the extraction of the pourer, because it is linked to the neck of the container only by a simple snap fit.
In addition, although the closure between the pourer and the body of the plug is effected by the contact between the two complementary frustoconical surfaces established on the one and the other body, it is obvious that said closure is obtained as far as the body the cap is screwed to its maximum limit, otherwise the adjustment between these surfaces in contact would not be appropriate, and in case of inclination of the container, it could lead to an unwanted loss of the contents.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The recommended plug-tap has been designed to solve the problem explained above, because, while based on the concept corresponding to the plug of the known model 9103808, it presents a series of new features that require as many improvements, both in functionality and efficiency of the entire plug.
Concretely, one of the novelties of the cap is that
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
the pourer, besides the fact that it is completely nested on the neck of the container, presents an extension superior on all the perimeter, which adapts to the external upper part (by surrounding it) of the neck of the container, with the peculiarity that the external part of this extension which embraces externally the neck of the container, is provided with an internal salient complementary to another external projection provided for this purpose on the neck, and whose projections fit together to form a means of retention of the pourer on the neck of the container, which is why the pull of the stopper upwards, even exceeding the preset limit,
will not cause displacement and possible separation of the pourer from the neck of the container, that is to say, it prevents the unintentional extraction of the pourer.
The body of the cap is completed by a lid attached thereto through a hinge of the spring type, which allows that in the open position, it is arranged in a 180 position relative to the body of the plug, for the purpose of not not hinder the exit of the liquid when tilting the package;
said lid has the particularity of being provided, on its inner face, with a collar which fits the inner part of the mouth corresponding to the outlet forming part of the body of the stopper, so that both the collar concentric and internal cover that the inner lateral surface of the pouring device, have complementary projections over the entire periphery, which determine a nesting of the cover in the closed position thereof, which is a means of closure complementary to the closing which takes place between the body of the cap and the pourer, these protrusions of the lid and the pouring device providing a secure closure all around the perimeter of the pouring device. This closure will produce a "click" effect that will indicate that the cap is perfectly closed.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
Finally, it should be said that the cap, as usual, is provided with an internal thread for screwing on the desired container, for example, on the neck of a bottle or a plastic bottle, and a sealing ring that breaks when unscrewing the cap to place it in the open position. Finally, it is equipped with a lower ring with a handle for transport.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
To complete the description, and in order to help better understand the characteristics of the invention, according to the preferred embodiment thereof, there is presented in the appendix a set of drawings which, by way of illustration and not limiting, represent the following:
Figure 1 shows a representation of a sectional view on a diametral plane of the plug in the closed position, coupled to the neck of a container.
Figure 2 shows a perspective view of the same plug in the open position, where we see the deployed situation of the lid and the high position of the plug body relative to the pourer.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
As can be seen in the figures presented, the plug of the invention comprises two parts or independent bodies, functionally associated with each other; for the first, it is a pourer (1) coupled
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
by pressing on the inner face of the upper portion of the neck or neck of the container (2), this pourer (1) being provided with windows (3) through which the liquid contained in the container will pass when the position of the latter will be reversed to empty the content.
The other body consists of the plug itself, bearing the reference (4), and provided with a screw thread complementary to that provided on the neck (2) of the container, as shown in the corresponding figures.
The pourer (1), on its adjustment wall on the inner surface of the neck (2) of the container, has an upper extension (5) which continues over the entire perimeter to form an outer wing (6) projected downwards. , provided with an internal projection (7) complementary to another projection (8) provided on the outside of the upper part of the neck (2) of the container, so that said complementary projections (7) and (8) constitute interlocking means which prevent, once the pourer (1) is coupled to the neck (2) of the container, that said pourer can be extracted involuntarily when pulled from the cap by unscrewing to open it.
For its part, the body of the cap (4) comprises a cover (9) fixed through a hinge (10) of the spring type, which makes it tend to occupy a stable position of closure, as shown in Figure 1 , and a stable opening position, as shown in Figure 2, so as to form in this case an angle of 180 relative to the body of the cap, and preventing its closure under the action of the spring effect of the hinge (10) so that it does not assume an obstacle when emptying the container.
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
The lid (9) has an internal and concentric neck (11) with an external projection (12) complementary to another projection (13) provided inside the section constituted by the pouring device (14), as shown in FIG. FIG. 1, making these protrusions (12) and (13) with the cover (9) in the closed position produce a safe and effective closure over the entire periphery of the pouring device, which completes the closure made between the frustoconical surfaces (15). and complementary to the pourer (1) and the body of the plug (4).
The body of the plug is completed by a sealing ring (16) which breaks when unscrewing the cap to open the container; on the other hand, it can also be completed by a lower ring which will include a handle for transporting the container.
The limit positions for closing and opening the body of the plug (4) relative to the neck (2) are determined by the two stops that constitute the salient (17) of the concentric wall of the body of the plug (4) and the projections upper (18) and lower (19) of the pourer (1), as shown in Figures 1 and 2 respectively.
From the closed position shown in FIG. 1, the opening of the container takes place as follows:
The body of the stopper (4) is rotated in the unscrewing direction, thereby breaking the sealing ring (16) and at the same time the body of the stopper (4) is moved upwards to separate it from the pourer (1), until the stopper configured by the projections (17) and (18), as shown in Figure 2.
When this position is reached, the lid (9) is opened
<Desc / Clms Page number 7>
pulling the edge opposite that of the hinge (10) until the position shown in Figure 2 of said cover (9). At that moment, the container is inverted and the liquid it contains reaches the pouring device (10) through the windows (3), which constitutes a stopper as indicated by its statement. It has been called a valve for the simple reason that opening and closing take place after screwing or unscrewing the body of the plug (4).
