Description

DESCRIPTION
ROAD SWEEPING APPARATUS WITH DISPOSABLE BAG MOUNTED TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to a road sweeping apparatus with a disposable bag mounted, and more particularly, to a road sweeping apparatus driving at a low speed corresponding to that of walking of a worker to more conveniently collect all kinds of wastes scattered on a road in an automatic or manual manner, in which a bag into which the collected wastes are put is installed inside a loading unit and simultaneously the bag is easily slidably withdrawn toward one side of the loading unit to easily collect the bag. In addition, fuel consumption is reduced by a motor-driven manner through a battery and simultaneously exhaust gas including carbon is not generated to be quite eco-friendly.
BACKGROUND ART
[0002] In general, wastes (hereinafter, refer to as 'road wastes' ) such as fallen leaves and sands that are thrown on places such as a general street, a expressway, a parking lot, a large industrial complex, an airport runway, and a large playground is swept by mainly a road sweeping vehicle with a sweeping tool mounted.
[0003] A1 so, although the road wastes are removed by the road sweeping vehicle, tiny dust or residues of a vehicle tire still remain to be attached on the road. The dust and residues are scattered whenever the vehicle passes and become a main source to pollute the atmosphere.
[0004] Meanwhile, the road sweeping vehicle, which sweeps by suctioning the road wastes, adopts a method of spraying water at high pressure and a method of installing a brush horizontally rotating to both sides of the vehicle to sweep the road wastes such as fallen leaves, sands, or dust which are stacked on the road by rotation of the rotational brush.
[0005] However, since the method of spraying the water at the high pressure and the method of rotating the rotational brush may not collect the road wastes inside the vehicle and only collect the wastes toward an edge portion of the road, an additional worker for sweeping the road wastes is required to generate another work.
[0006] Accordingly, a hand cart is conventionally used to put the wastes collected from the road into a standard plastic garbage bag to discharge the wastes.
[0007] For example, in technique such as "HAND CART FOR COLLECTING WASTES" of the Korean Patent Application No. 102003-008657 (publication date: July 2003), as illustrated in FIG. 1, a main body 121 having a rectangular shape, a first door 128 and a second door 131 respectively opened/closed through door handles 129 and 132, a cover unit 120 including a loading hole 123 or the like to store sweeping tools or the like, and a body unit 140 traveling through wheels 148, provided with a cart handle 144, and provided with a first side door 151 and a second side door 153 on one side thereof are provided. As a first insertion hole 124 and a second insertion hole 125, which are for inserting the standard plastic garbage bag 160 when the first door 128 and the second door 131 are opened, are defined to catch the inserted standard plastic garbage bag 160 by a plurality of catch holes 134 and 135, the standard plastic garbage bag 160 in which the wastes are filled may be pulled out and discharged by opening the first side door 151 and the second side door 153 .
[0008] However, the above-described related art relates to a manual type hand cart using manpower. In case of longdistance moving, the worker needs to manually travel to waste much manpower and the sweeping work is difficult because the worker oneself needs to collect the road wastes through a collecting unit to put the wastes into the standard plastic garbage bag 160. In addition, when the bag is fully filled with the wastes, because the standard plastic garbage bag 160 needs to be disassembled and then pull out, working time is delayed due to the difficult replacement of the standard plastic garbage bag 160 or the like not to efficiently perform the sweeping work.
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION TECHNICAL PROBLEM
[0009] The present invention is provided to solve the above-mentioned problems and it is a purpose of the present invention to provide a road sweeping apparatus in which a standard plastic garbage bag for collecting wastes is mounted inside the loading unit so that the road sweeping apparatus travels at a low speed corresponding to that of walking of a worker and easily sweeps all sort of wastes scattered on a road in the automatic or manual manner to fill the wastes into the standard plastic garbage bag. Here, as the fully filled standard plastic garbage bag for collecting wastes is easily slidably withdrawn to efficiently perform a process of removing the wastes scattered on the road and a process of collecting the wastes filled into the loading unit, time required for sweeping work is reduced and simultaneously manpower is reduced. In addition, fuel consumption is reduced and noise and discharge gas such as carbon are not generated to be quite eco-friendly, thrown to the outside of the loading unit, the standard plastic garbage bag is easily collected to reduce the time required for sweeping work, the manpower, and the like, thereby efficiently performing the sweeping work. .

[0054] Hereinafter, with reference to embodiments illustrated in the drawings, a road sweeping apparatus with a disposable bag mounted (hereinafter, refer to as a "road sweeping apparatus") will be described in more detail.
[0055] FIG. 2 is a side view illustrating a road sweeping apparatus with a disposable bag mounted according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a plan view illustrating the road sweeping apparatus with the disposable bag mounted according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a partially enlarged side view illustrating a loading unit of the road sweeping apparatus with the disposable bag mounted according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 5 is a side view illustrating a waste separation housing of the road sweeping apparatus with the disposable bag mounted according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view illustrating an usage state of a bag mount unit of the road sweeping apparatus with the disposable bag mounted according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a constitution of an air dispersion inducing unit of the road sweeping apparatus with the disposable bag mounted according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 8 is a perspective view illustrating a coupling state of the air dispersion inducing part of the road sweeping apparatus with the disposable bag mounted according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIGS. 9 and 10 are plan state views illustrating a steering unit of the road sweeping apparatus with the disposable bag mounted according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0056] Referring to the drawings, according to an embodiment of the present invention, a road sweeping apparatus 1 is a sweeping apparatus configured to simply perform a road sweeping work while a worker is walking by lightening and downsizing in comparison with a conventional road sweep vehicle and includes a main body 10, a loading unit 20, a suction sweeping unit 30, a driving unit 40, a bag mount unit 50, an air dispersion inducing unit 60, and a control unit 70.
[0057] The main body 10 is configured to provide a travelable chassis frame and includes four wheels 11. The wheels 11 include a pair of front wheels 11a and a pair of rear wheels lib.
[0058] Here, the one pair of the front wheels 11a may be motor-driven by the driving unit 40 that will be described later. For this, a rechargeable battery 13 may be provided at a side of the main body 10, and the one pair of the front wheels 11a may receive a power through the battery 13 and be run by operating the control unit 70 [0059] Also, the main body 10 further includes a steering unit 14 for steering the pair of the rear wheels lib. The above-described steering unit 14 serves to easily change a driving direction to a desired direction, which will be described again later.
[0060] A1 so, since a footplate 12 that is foldable toward a rear lower end is provided to the main body 10, the worker may move in a state in which the worker rides on the road sweeping apparatus 1 during the sweeping work.
[0061] The 1 oading unit 20 is disposed on an upper portion of the main body 10 to form a loading box defining a predetermined inner space therein. The loading unit 20 is configured to collect wastes suctioned through the suction sweeping unit 30.
[0062] He re, the loading unit 20 includes an open/close door 21 disposed on one side thereof to open/close the inner space and an upper introduction hole vertically passing therethrough and disposed on an upper end thereof to collect the wastes suctioned from a road through the suction sweeping unit 30.
[0063] The suction sweeping unit 30, which is configured to suction the wastes on the road to transfer the wastes to the loading unit 20, includes a suction part 31, a rotational brush 32, a rotational fan 33, an air inducing housing 34, and a discharge tube 35.
[0064] Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the suction part 31 includes a suction hole 31a spaced a predetermined height from the road and a discharge hole 31b for discharging the wastes suctioned through the suction hole 31a.
[0065] As illustrated in the drawings, the suction part 31 lengthily extends in a direction in which the suction hole 31a crosses the road, i.e., a width direction of the main body 10 to easily suction the wastes. Here, a suction tube 31c in which a wrinkle is provided to extend a predetermined length toward an upper portion of the suction hole 31a and flexibly move and an elbow tube 31d connected to the suction tube 31c and curved to form the discharge hole 31b may be integrated with each other.
[0066] A1 so, the suction part 31 allows the suction hole 31a to maintain a state spaced a predetermined height from the road by a bracket 311 protruding horizontally to both front lower side ends of the main body 10 and a castor 312 connected to a lower portion of the bracket 311 to rolling-contact the ground.
[0067] The above-descried suction part 31 has a principle similar to that of a structure of a vacuum cleaner in that since the rotational fan 33 that will be described later rotates to generate suction force that creates a vacuum in the suction tube 31c, a pressure difference occurs between the suction hole 31a and the discharge hole 31b to suction wastes on the road with air heading toward the discharge hole 31b.
[0068] The rotational brush 32 is configured to sweep and collect the wastes such as fallen leaves scattered on the road toward the suction hole 31a of the suction part 31. The pair of rotational brushes 32 are spaced a predetermined space and respectively disposed on front both sides of the main body 10 and connected to the other end of one pair of links 32a that are vertically parallel to each other so as to be hinge coupled to one end of the bracket 311 [0069] A1 so, when the rotational brush 32 is unnecessary to operate, the link 32a may further include a separate stopper (not shown in the drawings) for fixing the rotational brush 32 while lifted from the road.
[0070] Here, in a process in which the road sweeping apparatus 1 according to the present invention forward travels, the pair of rotational brushes 32 rotate in directions opposite to each other respectively through rotational motor 32b that receives a driving force by the battery 13 and collect the wastes to a center and allow the wastes to head toward a direction of the suction hole 31a, thereby enabling the wastes to be suctioned to the suction part 31.
[0071] The rotational fan 33 rotates to generate an air suction force toward the loading unit 20 and transfer the wastes suctioned by the suction part 31 to the loading unit 20 .
[0072] Since the rotational fan 33 is surrounded by the air inducing housing 34, a plurality of rotational blades are disposed adjacent to an inner wall of the air inducing housing 34 to rotate so that the wastes is discharged through the air inducing space defining an inner wall 34c disposed adjacent to a surrounding of the rotational fan 33.
[0073] That is, the air inducing housing 34 includes an inlet end 34a flange-coupled to communicate with the discharge hole 31a defined in the elbow tube 31d of the suction part 31 and an outlet end 34b flange-coupled to the discharge tube 35 to communicate with the upper introduction hole 22 of the loading unit 20. The air inducing housing protects the rotational fan 33 and simultaneously faces the inlet end 34a to form a concentric circle with a front center of the rotational fan 44 horizontally shaft-coupled in back and forth directions, and the outlet end 34b is opened toward an edge portion of the rotational blade of the rotational fan 33 .
[0074] Accordingly, as the rotational blade of the rotational fan 33 rotates at a high speed, the air suctioned to the suction part 31 is suctioned into an inside of the air inducing housing 34, and the wastes moves along the suctioned air and induced along the inner wall 34c of the air inducing housing 34, thereby being discharged toward the loading unit 20 through the outlet end 34b.
[0075] The discharge tube 35 is configured to transfer the air discharged through the outlet end 34b of the air inducing housing 34 and the wastes transferred together with the air to the loading unit 20, and has one side connected to the outlet end 34b of the air inducing housing 34 and the other end extending lengthy to be coupled to the waste separation housing 36 that will be described later.
[0076] Accordingly, since the discharge tube 35 has an extendable wrinkled tube shape, the discharge tube 35 may flexibly extend toward the waste separation housing 36 disposed in an upper direction of the loading unit 20.
[0077] Meanwhile, in the road sweeping apparatus 1 according to the present invention, the suction sweeping unit 30 further includes the waste separation housing 36.
[0078] The waste separation housing 36 induces the wastes transferred to the loading unit 20 through the discharge tube 35 to fall into the inner space of the loading unit 20, i.e., the inside of the bag B mounted on the bag mount unit 50 that will be described later through the upper introduction hole 22 .
[0079] Referring to FIG. 5, the waste separation housing 36 has a circular inlet 36a communicating with the other side of the discharge tube 35 and an inner passage having a crosssectional structure communicating with the upper introduction hole 22 of the loading unit 20 is defined in the inlet.
[0080] Accordingly, a mesh filter 361 that induces the wastes suctioned to the inner passage through the inlet 36a to fall into the upper introduction hole 22 is installed on the waste separation housing 36. The pair of mesh filters 361 are spaced a predetermined space with a predetermined angle formed toward the upper introduction hole 22 and each of which is constituted by a sieve made of a corrosion resistant material such as steel use stainless (SUS) or the like to allow air suctioned through the inlet to consecutively pass therethrough and double-filter the wastes suctioned together with the air and induce the wastes to fall into the inner space of the loading unit 20.
[0081] The driving unit 40 is configured to provide a power for traveling of the main body 10 and operation of the suction sweeping unit 30.
[0082] Referring to the drawings, the driving unit 40 includes a traveling motor 41 providing a driving force to the pair of front wheels 11a of the wheels 11 and a driving motor 42 shaft-coupled to the rotational shaft 33a horizontally rotating-supporting the rotational fan 33 to rotatingly drive the rotational fan 33.
[0083] A1 so, the traveling motor 41 and the driving motor 42, which are electric motors that are driven by receiving a power from the rechargeable battery 13, generate less noise in comparison to an engine driven motor mounted on a conventional road traveling type sweeping vehicle because the traveling motor 41 is driven for a predetermined time through a simple electric charging of the rechargeable battery 13, is economical because they do not consume an additional fuel, and is eco-friendly because they do not generate a pollutant such as exhaust gas.
[0084] Meanwhile, the road sweeping apparatus 1 according to the present invention includes the bag mount unit 50 capable of attaching/detaching a standard plastic garbage bag in an inner space of the loading unit 20.
[0085] The bag mount unit 50 is configured to mount the bag B in a state in which an inlet of the bag is spread in the loading unit to put the wastes transferred from the loading unit, and installed to be withdrawable to the outside of the loading unit 20 in a state in which the open/close door 21 of the loading unit 20 is opened.
[0086] In the related art as illustrated in FIG. 1, since a process for mounting and replacing a standard plastic garbage bag is quite inconvenient and difficult, the replacement process is delayed and thus a sweeping process is inefficient.
[0087] Thus, referring to FIG. 6, the bag mount unit 50 may include a rail 51, a mount frame 52, and a fixing frame 53.
[0088] A pair of rails 51 are fixed to both inner walls of the inner space of the loading unit 20 and slidably withdrawn in a state in which the open/close door 21 is opened.
[0089] The mount frame 52 is constituted by a rectangular shaped frame so that the mount frame 52 is fixed to the rail 51 and slidably moves together with the rail 51.
[0090] The above-described mount frame 52 includes an upper end 52a on which an upper end of the bag B is hung, and a handle 52b is provided on one side in a direction facing the open/close door 21 to easily withdraw the loading unit 20 to the outside.
[0091] The f ixing frame 53 is inserted along the upper end 52a of the mount frame 52 to fix the bag B. Here, the fixing frame 53 has the form of rectangular frame corresponding to the upper end 52a of the mount frame 52 to enable the bag B to be simply inserted and attached/detached to an inside of the upper end 52a in a state in which the inlet of the bag B is spread and hung on the mount frame 52, and thus the bag B may be fixed to the mount frame 52 in a state in which the bag B is hung on the mount frame 52.
[0092] As described above, in case that the bag B of the bag mount unit 50 is filled with the wastes, the worker is unnecessary to bend into the inside of the loading unit 20 to replace the bag and simply pulls the handle 52b of the mount frame 52 to withdraw the bag to the outside of the loading unit 20 and simultaneously simply replace the bag B by attaching/detaching the fixing frame 52. Also, since the standard plastic garbage bag B filled with the wastes is put down on a predetermined place by which a collection vehicle passes, an additional process for collecting the wastes is unnecessary to make the sweeping process quite easy.
[0093] That is, the road sweeping apparatus 1 according to the present invention generates an effect to efficiently perform the sweeping process such that the standard plastic garbage bag is conveniently collected and replaced to reduce a time required for the sweeping process, manpower, and the like .
[0094] Meanwhile, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the road sweeping apparatus 1 includes an air dispersion inducing unit 60 for dispersing air introduced in a lateral downward direction toward the inner space of the loading unit through the upper introduction hole 22 of the loading unit 20.
[0095] The air dispersing inducing unit 60 includes an outer frame 61, an inner frame 62, and an air reflection plate 63.
[0096] Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, the outer frame 61 may be constituted in a rectangular shape to provide four sidewalls made of sieve through which air passes, and the sieve forming the four sidewalls may be made of a corrosion-resistant material such as steel use stainless (SUS).
[0097] A1 so, the outer frame 61 is installed adjacent to a lower portion of the upper introduction hole 22 in the form of a frame vertically passing therethrough to fall the wastes into the bag B mounted to the bag mount unit 50, and a handle 61c is provided on one side of the outer frame 61, i.e., a direction facing the open/close door 21, to easily withdraw to the outside in a state in which the open/close door 21 is opened.
[0098] The inner frame 62 has dual sidewalls each of which is provided with a sieve, like the outer frame 61. Here, as illustrated in FIG. 8, the inner frame 62 is installed inside the outer frame to define a space spaced a predetermined width from a sidewall of the outer frame.
[0099] The air reflection plate 63 plate may be constituted by a thin plate material installed inclined downward at a predetermined angle inside the inner frame to disperse the air introduced through the upper introduction hole in a downward direction.
[00100] He re, the shape or fixed position of the air reflection plate 63 in not limited when the air introduced to the upper introduction hole 22 is induced in a direction of a side surface of the inner space of the loading unit 20, and desirably angled at an inclined angle toward the sidewall of the outer frame 61 and the inner frame 62.
[00101] This allows the air to pass through the sidewall provided with the sieve. As described above, when the air heads toward the sidewall of the outer frame 61 and the inner frame 62, the wastes transferred together with the air is filtered at the sidewall of the inner frame 62, and the air that turns a direction by the air reflection plate 63 consecutively pass through the sidewall of the inner frame 62, the spaced space S, and the sidewall of the outer frame 61 to collide the inner wall of the loading unit 20. As a result, the above-described flow provides an air layer moving in a downward direction of the loading unit 20 in a direction of the side surface of the loading unit 20.
[00102] A1 so, since a portion of the air, which is not discharged in the lateral direction of the loading unit 20, is introduced inside the bag B by the air reflection plate 63, while the wastes put in the bag B mounted in a state in which an inlet of the bag B is spread is not heavily influenced, the inside of the bag may be spread.
[00103] He re, the loading unit 20 includes a plurality of air through holes 23 defined in a bottom thereof to discharge the air introduced into the inner space through the upper introduction hole 22. That is, the air through holes 23 serve to discharge the air moving in the later downward direction in the inner space of the loading unit 20 to the outside through the air reflection plate 63.
[00104] Accordingly, the air introduced through the upper introduction hole 22 is not stayed in the inner space of the loading unit 20 and moves downward along the direction of the side surface of the inner space to be discharged to the outside, and the wastes introduced with the air into the inner space of the loading unit 20 is filtered through the sidewall of the inner frame 62 of the air dispersion inducing unit 60 and induced to directly fall toward the bag B.
[00105] Thus, the road sweeping apparatus 1 according to the present invention efficiently collects the wastes introduced inside the loading unit 20 through the air dispersion inducing unit 60 and prevents the wastes inside the bag B from being scattered by the flow of the air.
[00106] A1 so, although the four sidewalls of each of the outer frame 61 and the inner frame 62 may be integrally provided, because a process for separately manufacturing and assembling to provide the dual walls defining the spaced space S is difficult as described above, as illustrated in FIG. 7, an embodiment in which the outer frame 61 and the inner frame 62 are simply assembled such that sidewalls 61a and 62a of three directions and sidewalls 61b and 62b of the rest direction are bolt-coupled may be realized.
[00107] Meanwhile, in the road sweeping apparatus 1 according to the present invention, the loading unit 20 includes an air filter 25 installed on a bottom thereof to block the air through holes 23 to filter the wastes fallen on the bottom.
[00108] Here, since the air filter 25 filters to prevent dust or foreign substances that are scattered through the introduction of the air in the inner space of the loading unit 20 from being discharged to the outside, the air filter 25 is desired to have a material and a shape that allow the air to pass therethrough to a lower portion of the bottom of the loading unit 20.
[00109] The control unit 70, which is for controlling the driving of the driving unit 40, may further include a main controller (not shown in the drawings) installed at one side of the main body so that the road sweeping apparatus 1 according to the present invention travels and is driven in the automatic or manual manner.
[00110] Thus, as the control unit 70 controls the driving of the traveling motor 41 and the driving motor 42 through an operation of the main controller, the traveling of the road sweeping apparatus 1 according to the present invention and a process of suction-sweeping through the suction sweeping unit 30 may be performed.
[00111] A1 so, as described above, the main body 10 may further include a steering unit for steering the pair of rear wheels lib.
[00112] Referring to FIGS. 9 and 10, the steering unit 14 includes a handle 141, a pinion gear 142, a rack gear 143, a movable frame 144, a pair of steering arms 145, and a rotational link 146.
[00113] The handle 141 may be installed appropriately at a breast height of the user in a state in which the user rides on the road sweeping apparatus 1 through the footplate 12. Here, in FIG. 2, the handle 141 is disposed at one side of a surrounding of a rear upper end of the loading unit 20, and the handle 141 is installed to rotate together with a handle shaft 141a lengthily extending downward upto a rear end of the main body 10 [00114] A1 so, the pinion gear 142 is transmittably coupled to a lower end of the handle shaft 141a, and a movable frame 144 installed to be movable in a left and right direction is installed on a rear end of the main body 10. A rack gear 143 engaged with the pinion gear 142 to move integrally with the movable frame 144 in a left and right direction is installed on the movable frame 144.
[00115] He re, a pair of steering arms are respectively installed to the pair of rear wheels lib to integrally rotate with the pair of rear wheels lib by a vertically shaft-coupled rotational shaft 145a, and a rotational link 146 lengthily extending is installed to have one end hinge-coupled to a central portion of the movable frame 144 and the other end hinge-coupled to each of the pair of steering arms 145.
[00116] Accordingly, the rotational link 146 serves to rotate each of the pair of steering arms with respect to a center of the rotational shaft 145a by the movable frame 144 moving together with the rack gear 143 in the left and right direction according to an rotation operation of the handle 141, and the pair of rear wheels lib is steerable by integrally rotating with the pair of steering arms 145.
[00117] Accordingly, the road sweeping apparatus 1 according to the present invention may freely travel when moving back and forth in an alley having a narrow access road or the like to conveniently move.
[00118] Meanwhile, in a road sweeping apparatus 1' with a disposable bag mounted according to another embodiment of the present invention, the suction sweeping unit 30 further includes a suction duct 31' lengthily extending to communicate with the inlet end 34a of the air inducing housing 34.
[00119] FIG. 11 is an enlarged side view of the suction sweeping unit of the road sweeping apparatus with the disposable bag mounted according to another embodiment of the present invention.
[00120] Referring to FIG. 11, the road sweeping apparatus 1' is characterized to include the suction duct 31' communicating with the inlet end 34a of the air inducing housing 34.
[00121] That is, the suction duct 31' is provided so that the worker oneself may directly see and sweep the wastes in a corner portion on the road, which is difficult to be swept by the suction part 31 according to an embodiment of the present invention. As a connecting tube 31a' coupled between the suction part 31 and the air inducing housing 34 to substitute the elbow tube 31d according to an embodiment is installed so that the suction duct 31' is provided detachably to the connecting tube 31a', the worker may manually operate the suction duct 31' and perform a clean sweeping work.
[00122] Here, an embodiment in which the suction part 31 includes an additional cover for opening/closing the suction hole 31a or the like to increase suction force to the suction duct 31' is possible.
[00123] The road sweeping apparatus with the disposable bag mounted, which is described above and illustrated in the drawings, is an exemplary embodiment to implement the present invention, and should not be construed as limit the technical idea of the present invention. Although a preferred embodiment of the present invention has been disclosed, various changes and modifications may be made thereto by one skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
[00124] As described above, the road sweeping apparatus with the disposable bag mounted according to the present invention travels at the low speed corresponding to the walking of the worker and conveniently collects all sorts of wastes scattered on the road in the automatic or manual manner, in which the bag in which the collected wastes are put is installed inside the loading unit and simultaneously the bag is easily slidably withdrawn to one side of the loading unit to easily collect the bag. In addition, the road sweeping apparatus is industrially useful in that the fuel consumption may be reduced in the motor-driven manner through the battery and the discharge gas such as carbon may not be generated to be quite eco-friendly.
