Abstract
Process for the treatment of waste liquid, especially high-solids industrial waste water, characterised by the following process steps: a) the waste liquid, together with dry gas, especially dry air, is sprayed (12) in a spraying tower (10) into the counter-current of dry gas (52), especially dry air, and evaporated: b) the solids in the waste water are trapped in the lower region (22) of the spraying tar; c) the wet gas is withdrawn from the upper part (56) of the spraying tower and brought into heat exchange with the evaporator (32) of a refrigeration machine (30), the liquid (40) condensing on the evaporator being trapped; d) the cooled dry gas is then brought into heat exchange with the condenser (34) of the refrigeration machine and heated, and e) the heated dry gas (44) is returned to the process step a) in closed circulation. <IMAGE>
