Abstract

The invention relates to a ski having a ski body and a plate mounted in the binding region of the ski body. In order to provide a ski which absorbs the impact energy received by the ski body during skiing as well as possible, but is intended to be of a design which is as robust as possible, a plate (12), consisting of a bending-resistant covering layer (14) and an intermediate layer (16) of less bending resistance arranged below the latter, is mounted on the ski body (10).
