Abstract
The carbon fiber bundles are kept in a mechanically generated fluidized bed during impregnation with the curable resin. The carbon fiber bundles are kept in the fluidized bed until the resin has been cured or dried so that the bundles no longer stick together. An independent claim is also included for an intermediate body for silicization.
