Abstract

The invention relates to a clamping device (54) for clamping a workpiece in place relative to a clamping table. The clamping device according to the invention is of three-piece design, with a support (1) which can be restrained together with a clamping table (4) via a fastening screw (44). A guide shoe (14) is displaceable relative to the support (1) in the direction of a longitudinal axis (2-2). The guide shoe has legs, which are each arranged outside both the support (1) and a pivoted lever (35). Extensions (42) of the clamping lever (35) pass through bearing lugs of the legs to permit a pivoting movement of the clamping lever (35). The clamping lever (35) together with the extensions (42) forms a construction unit which can be inserted as such into the guide shoe (14) in the direction of the longitudinal axis (2-2), thereby providing for simple assembly.
