Abstract
A railway train has a series of railway cars (1A, 1B) linked to each other by couplings that allows for limited freedom of movement in three planes (pitch, yaw, roll). The coupling has two halves which each have a limited degree of freedom to move in the horizontal fore and aft axis with respect to the other, linked by a two-part element secured without fixtures e.g. bolts.
