Abstract

The plug, particularly of the so-called sub-D plug design, includes a base plate (5) which is designed so that the base plate can be mounted to a circuit board. The base plate has at least one projecting soldering lug (29,30) which is designed so that it can be soldered on a solder point provided on a circuit board by the surface mounting (SM) technique.
