Abstract
The plug, particularly of the so-called sub-D plug design, includes a base plate (5) which is designed so that the base plate can be mounted to a circuit board. The base plate has at least one projecting soldering lug (29,30) which is designed so that it can be soldered on a solder point provided on a circuit board by the surface mounting (SM) technique. Several projecting soldering lugs (29,30) are provided and are arranged adjacent to one another on at least one edge (27,28) of the base plate (5).
