Abstract

The invention relates to a cultivation method for micro-organisms, and a suitable bioreactor. The principle of the trickle-bed method is combined with that of the fluidized bed method in said bioreactor, thus providing a completely novel cultivation principle using the above-mentioned type of bioreactor.
