Abstract

The burner plate (12, 38) comprises a single stainless steel sheet, which has flame slots within a collar (28) for each gas-air mixer unit (10). The stainless steel sheet (30) is laser-welded to the burner plate, so that the edges (50) form a grid of mounting slots for the mixers, and hydraulically formed to provide coolant channels (42).
