Abstract
The crane vehicle has a wheeled chassis supporting a rotary crane, with a height-adjustable lifting cylinder (14) for the extendible crane arm (18). The operating drives for the crane have an associated control device (23), coupled to parameter measuring devices for calculating a reference value corresponding to the max. loading of the crane for each working position. The measuring devices are used to measure the transverse inclination of the track, the pivot angle of the crane, the length of the crane arm and the working position of vertically adjustable props (32) for the chassis. The calculated reference value is compared with the detected pressure of the lifting cylinder, with the control device including an overload cut-out. <IMAGE>
