Abstract

The ink or lacquer is removed from a one side open container (2) by an associated roller (1). The container, typically an ink well, is closed by a cover (3) with a pipeline system (4,10) for the supply of a cleaning liq. from a reservoir (6) and the discharge of a mixt. of the ink, or lacquer, and the cleaning mixt. into a collector (9). Pref. the container may be a doctor blade trough, and the cover may be releasably coupled to it. The cleaning liq. may be supplied under high pressure, hitting the inking roller and container or an impact jet. The doctor blade trough may comprise a spray device.
