Abstract

The illustration shows an upper part for the drainage fitting of a shower bath, consisting of a cylindrical baffle (41) having moulded-on radial webs (42) by which the upper part is supported in a pot (not shown) into which it is inserted. The upper part is covered by a cover (43). The latter is kept at a distance from the pot by means of the webs (42), so that the water can run under the cover into the pot. Whereas baffle (41) and webs (42) are composed of a hard plastic for the sake of stability, the cover (43) is composed of a soft plastic to avoid injury to people slipping in the shower bath. The cover (43) is stabilised by a surmounted moulded-in metal plate (44) which does not reach as far as the edge of the cover. <IMAGE>
