Es ist bei der Herstellung von Schuhen, insbesondere von Bergschuhe bekannt, unter das Oberleder ein Futterleder anzuordnen und dieses unter die Brandsohle umgelappte Futterleder mit der Brandsohle durch eine verdeckt liegende Naht zu verbinden.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist nun ein solcher Schuh, der sich durch ganz besondere Festigkeit und nahezu vollkommene Wasserdichtheit auszeichnet. Die Erfindung kennzeichnet sich dadurch, dass ausser der die Brandsohle und das unter diese umgelappte Unterleder verbindenden, vom Oberleder verdeckten Naht noch eine innerhalb der Handnaht angeordnete, das Unterleder, die Brandsohle und die Zwischensohle durchsetzende Holzstiftenreihe angeordnet ist.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes in Fig. 1 in Seitenansicht, in Fig. 2 im Querschnitt nach der Linie A-A und in Fig. 3 im Querschnitt nach der Linie B-B dargestellt.
Bei dem aus zweckentsprechend gutem Leder hergestellten Bergschuh ist a das Unterleder, das in bekannterweise unter dem Rand der Brandsohle c etwas umgebogen, mit dieser durch die verdeckt liegende Handnaht e verbunden ist und vom äusseren Oberleder b umgeben wird. Die durchgehende Sohle des Schuhes besteht aus der Zwischensohle h und der Bodensohle k. Im rückwärtigen Teile bzw. im Bereiche des mittleren Fusses und der Ferse ist zwischen dem Unterleder a und dem Oberleder b das Afterleder 1 angebracht.
Gemäss der Erfindung ist das Unterleder mit der Brandsohle durch die innerhalb der Naht e angeordnete Holzstiftenreihe d, die parallel zum Sohlenrand verläuft und von der Zwischensohle h aus eingeschlagen wird, verbunden.
Diese Holzstiftenreihe gibt dem Schuh einen starken Halt und verhindert das Durchtreten der Brandsohle. Da das Unterleder ferner durch die Handnaht e mit der Brandsohle verbunden ist, erhält dieser Teil des Schuhes eine ganz besondere Festigkeit, die so weit geht, dass das Unterleder a auch bei einer etwaigen Lockerung oder Lösung des Oberleders ebensogut hält, wie vorher und die weitere Benutzung des Schuhes ohne weiteres zulässt. Wenn das Oberleder aufgebracht ist, so wird am oberen Sohlenrande das Nahtleder f aufgelegt und durch die Handnaht g mit der Zwischensohle h und der Bodensohle k verbunden.
Zwischen der Brandsohle c und der Zwischensohle h ist eine sich zweckmässig an die Ränder des Unterleders a anlegende Korksohle i angeordnet, die nicht nur das Tragen des Schuhes angenehm macht, sondern auch den Fuss vor der Bodenkälte schützt und als Isolierung dient.
