Description

Klemm-Kabelschuh.
Fig. III und IV zeigen die Seitenansichten eines Doppelkabelsehuhes.

Clamp cable lug.
The invention relates to a cable lug in which the cable is fastened by clamping, which is effected by a wedge knocked into a groove. In Fig. I and II, the side views of such a cable lug are illustrated.
Section E-F shows the cable lug in an open state for easier explanation. The ends b and c encompassing the cable a are provided lengthwise with slots d and are arranged in such a way that each slot is opposed to a V ol1stück which is then bent over to form the channel e for the wedge. The slots taper towards the end in a wedge shape. If the wedge f is now hammered into the channel, the two approaches g serving as a support, the resulting enlargement of the channel creates a powerful clamping effect on the cable. The slots d are arranged a little longer and enable the cable lug to be used for a number of cable cross-sections with excellent contact.
The slightly longer wedge is driven in to a greater or lesser extent depending on the cable to be used. In the case of large cross-sections, the cable lug is made from several thin sheets of metal to make it easier to bend; a wedge screw is used instead of the wedge. III and IV show the side views of a double cable sheath.
Section J-I shows the shoe in the bent-up state. The slots / t are arranged here without wedge surfaces and two wedges i, which are hammered into one another, are used. It is possible to clamp two different cables at the same time with just one cable lug.
