Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kraftfahrzeug mit im Wesentlichen rechteckiger Heckklappe, welche an einer ihrer vier Seiten am Aufbau des Kraftfahrzeuges angeschlagen ist. Solche Kraftfahrzeuge sind sogenannte "Kombi - Kraftwagen", #Hatchbacks", #SUV" oder Geländewagen.
Die Heckklappe erleichtert das Beladen, insbesondere mit sperrigen Gegenständen. Sind diese Gegenstände aber länger als der im Inneren zur Verfügung stehende Raum, so muss die Heck- klappe offen gelassen und mit irgendeinem Zugmittel provisorisch verankert werden. Solche lan- gen Gegenstände sind beispielsweise Schier, Bohnenstangen, Rohre oder ein zu pflanzender Baum. Allen diesen ist gemeinsam, dass sie lang und schmal sind.
Das Verankern der halboffenen Heckklappe mit einem behelfsmässigen Zugmittel ist aufwendig (soferne man überhaupt eines zur Hand hat) und stellt ein Sicherheitsrisiko dar. Das Zugmittel kann reissen und die Ladung verloren werden. Oft werden dadurch auch die Heckleuchten ver- deckt oder schlecht sichtbar (wenn sie an der Heckklappe selbst angebracht sind). Schliesslich ist auch das Fahren mit offener Heckklappe unangenehm, vor allem im Winter.
Mit der Erfindung soll dieses Problem auf elegante Weise und mit möglichst geringem Aufwand gelöst werden. Der Einbau sollte aus Kostengründen auch möglichst geringe Änderungen am Fahrzeugkörper erfordern.
Erfindungsgemäss verfügt die Heckklappe über eine Öffnung, die an die untere Rechteckseite angrenzt, nur einen Teil der Breite und der Höhe der Heckklappe einnimmt und mittels einer Klap- pe verschliessbar ist. So können lange und schmale Gegenstände bei geschlossener Heckklappe transportiert werden. Nur die kleine Klappe, durch die nicht viel Aussenluft eindringen kann ist offen. Ausserdem sind die Heckleuchten so nicht verdeckt, allgemein ist ihr Abstrahlwinkel grösser.
Vorzugsweise ist die Klappe im Normalzustand dicht mit der Heckklappe verbunden, und durch Öffnen einer Verriegelung aus der Öffnung heraus in die Horizontale klappbar. So sind, ausgehend von einer Heckklappe nach dem Stand der Technik keine Veränderungen am Fahrzeugkörper nötig, nur die Heckklappe ist umzugestalten, und eventuell noch die durchwegs am Fahrzeugkör- per angeschraubten Scharnier- oder Schlossteile.
Wenn die Klappe an der unteren Rechteckseite der Heckklappe angeschlagen ist, bildet sie eine Verlängerung der Ladefläche. Biegsame Langgüter biegen sich so etwas weniger durch.
In Weiterbildung der Erfindung ist in die Öffnung der Klappe ein Behälter in Fahrzeuglängsrich- tung einschiebbar, dessen Querschnitt dicht an die Öffnung anschliesst, und der nach hinten aus der Öffnung herausragt. Mit einer derartigen Transportbox ist das Fahrzeug wetter- und winterfest.
Im folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand von Abbildungen beschrieben und erläutert. Es stellen dar :

In Fig. 1 ist der von hinten sichtbare Kraftfahrzeugkörper mit 1 bezeichnet. Er hat eine unge- fähr rechteckige Heckklappe 2. Die rechteckige Kontur ist gebildet von einer unteren Rechteckseite 3, einer linken (4), einer rechten (6) und einer oberen Rechteckseite 5. Scharniere 7 sind hier an der oberen Rechteckseite 5 angebracht. Im oberen Teil der Heckklappe 2 ist ein Heckfenster 8 angedeutet. Darunter hat die Heckklappe 2 eine Öffnung 9, die von einer Klappe 10 (auch .auf Katzenklappe") verschlossen ist. Die Klappe 10 ist an der Heckklappe 2 mittels Scharnieren 11 schwenkbar gelagert und mittels einer Verriegelung 12 in der Heckklappe 2 festgelegt.
Fig. 2 unterscheidet sich davon nur dadurch, dass die Scharniere 17 der Heckklappe 2 an der unteren Heckseite 3 der Heckklappe 2 angeordnet sind. Die Heckklappe 2 wird zum Öffnen somit als Ganzes abwärts geschwenkt. In der geschlossenen Heckklappe 2 ist wieder die Öffnung 9 erkennbar. Die Klappe 10 ist hier in ihrer geöffneten Stellung 10' gezeigt, in der sie die innere Ladefläche 16 nach aussen verlängert.
In Fig. 3 ist die Heckklappe 2 an der linken Rechteckseite 4 angeschlagen. In die für die Klappe 10 bestimmte Öffnung 29 ist hier ein Behälter 20 eingeschoben, dessen Querschnitt gleich der Kontur der Öffnung 29 ist. Der Behälter ist im wesentlichen quaderförmig mit zylindrischen Teilen und ist von hinten in die Öffnung 29 einschiebbar. Es ist zu erkennen, dass in der gezeigten einge- schobenen Stellung ein Teil 21 des Behälters 20 im Inneren des Fahrzeuges ist und ein Teil 22 nach hinten herausragt.

The invention relates to a motor vehicle with a substantially rectangular tailgate, which is attached to the body of the motor vehicle on one of its four sides. Such vehicles are so-called "station wagons", #Hatchbacks ", #SUV" or off-road vehicles.
The tailgate makes loading easier, especially with bulky items. However, if these objects are longer than the space available inside, the tailgate must be left open and temporarily anchored using some means of traction. Such long objects are, for example, skis, bean stalks, pipes or a tree to be planted. All of these have in common that they are long and narrow.
Anchoring the half-open tailgate with a makeshift traction device is complex (if you have one at hand) and represents a safety risk. The traction device can tear and the load can be lost. Often the tail lights are also covered or difficult to see (if they are attached to the tailgate itself). After all, driving with the tailgate open is also uncomfortable, especially in winter.
With the invention, this problem is to be solved in an elegant manner and with as little effort as possible. For cost reasons, the installation should also require the smallest possible changes to the vehicle body.
According to the invention, the tailgate has an opening which adjoins the lower side of the rectangle, occupies only part of the width and height of the tailgate and can be closed by means of a flap. Long and narrow objects can be transported with the tailgate closed. Only the small flap through which not much outside air can enter is open. In addition, the rear lights are not covered, generally their beam angle is larger.
In the normal state, the flap is preferably tightly connected to the tailgate and can be folded out of the opening into the horizontal by opening a lock. Starting from a tailgate according to the state of the art, no changes are necessary to the vehicle body, only the tailgate has to be redesigned, and possibly the hinge or lock parts screwed onto the vehicle body throughout.
When the flap is attached to the lower rectangular side of the tailgate, it forms an extension of the loading area. Flexible long goods bend less so.
In a further development of the invention, a container can be inserted into the opening of the flap in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, the cross section of which closely adjoins the opening and which projects out of the opening to the rear. With such a transport box, the vehicle is weatherproof and winterproof.
The invention is described and explained below with the aid of figures. They represent:

In Fig. 1, the motor vehicle body visible from behind is designated by 1. It has an approximately rectangular tailgate 2. The rectangular contour is formed by a lower rectangle side 3, a left (4), a right (6) and an upper rectangle side 5. Hinges 7 are attached to the upper rectangle side 5 here. A rear window 8 is indicated in the upper part of the tailgate 2. Underneath, the tailgate 2 has an opening 9 which is closed by a tailgate 10 (also "on cat tailgate"). The tailgate 10 is pivotably mounted on the tailgate 2 by means of hinges 11 and is fixed in the tailgate 2 by means of a lock 12.

In Fig. 3, the tailgate 2 is hinged on the left side of the rectangle 4. A container 20 is inserted into the opening 29 intended for the flap 10, the cross section of which is equal to the contour of the opening 29. The container is essentially cuboid with cylindrical parts and can be inserted into the opening 29 from behind. It can be seen that in the inserted position shown a part 21 of the container 20 is inside the vehicle and a part 22 protrudes to the rear.
