Handgerät zum Stopfen von Zigarettenhälsen.
Zigarettenstopfvorrichtungen mit aufklappbarer Metallhülse und Stopfer sind bekannt.
Bei denselben tritt der allgemeine Übelstand auf, dass das Öffnen der Metallhülse nach dem Stopfen behufs abermaligen Füllens derselben mit Tabak Schwierigkeiten bietet. Eine Reihe von Massnahmen sind getroffen worden, um das Öffnen der Stopfht11se zu erleichtern, so z. B. durch Anbringen von Ansätzen oder von Einschnitten, welche als Angriffspunkte beim Öffnen der Hälse dienen sollen. Alle diese Einrichtungen sind jedoch nicht zweckdienlich, weil sie kein selbsttätiges Öffnen der Stopferhülse bewirken.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist nun eine Einrichtung, welche das Öffnen der Stopfhalse selbsttätig in dem Zeitpunkte bewirkt, in welchem die gestopfte Zigarette vom oberen Ende der Stopfhülse abgestossen wird.
Die Einrichtung besteht darin, dass nahe dem Handgriffe des Stopfers ein oder mehrere keilförmige Ansätze an demselben angeordnet sind, welche nach dem Abstossen der gestopften Zigarette in die Stopferhülse eindringen und die beiden Schalen derselben öffnen.
In den Zeichnungen ist die Erfindung an einem Ausführungsbeispiele erörtert :
An dem Stopfer o ist unmittelbar oberhalb seines Handgriffes eine Hülse a angeordnet, welche zwei keilförmige Anschläge b, b'besitzt (Fig. I, II und III). Diese Ansätze dringen beim weiteren Einführen des Stopfers nach erfolgtem Stopfen der Zigarettenhülse in die Stopferhülse A ein (Fig. IV und V) und öffnen die beiden Schalen derselben.
Erforderlich ist hiebei, dass die Länge d, f des Stopfers o so gross ist, dass-ehe die keilförmigen Ansätze b, b desselben die beiden Schalen der Stopflitilse öffnen-die gestopfte Zigarette durch das Ende d des Stopfers bereits abgestossen worden ist, da sonst ein Zerreissen der Zigarettenhülse eintreten würde.

With these the general disadvantage arises that the opening of the metal sleeve after the stopper for refilling the same with tobacco presents difficulties. A number of measures have been taken to make it easier to open the stuffing box, e.g. B. by attaching approaches or incisions, which are to serve as points of attack when opening the necks. However, all of these devices are not useful because they do not cause the stuffer sleeve to open automatically.
The subject of the invention is a device which automatically opens the stuffing neck at the point in time at which the stuffed cigarette is repelled from the upper end of the stuffing sleeve.
The device consists in that one or more wedge-shaped attachments are arranged on the stuffer near the handle of the stuffer, which, after the stuffed cigarette has been pushed off, penetrate the stuffer sleeve and open the two shells of the same.
In the drawings, the invention is discussed using an exemplary embodiment:
