   Es sind beispielsweise bei Kartoffelerntemaschinen rotierende   Reinigungstrommeln   bekannt, deren Mantel von Längsstäben gebildet wird, die aus über Zapfen geschobenen drehbaren Mantelrohren bestehen. 



   Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Reinigungstrommel für Kartoffeln und dgl., bei welcher auf den den Mantel bildenden drehbaren Längsstäben Holzwalzen aufgeschoben sind. Durch die Verwendung drehbarer Holzwalzen statt drehbarer Metallrohre wird ein Verletzen der Kartoffelschalen und somit ein Faulen der Kartoffeln vermieden. In Fig.'1 und 2 der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in Ansicht und Schnitt dargestellt. Die Reinigungstrommel wird aus eisernen Rundstäben b gebildet, die parallel zur Trommelachse angeordnet sind und mit ihren Enden c frei drehbar in den Trommelringen d gelagert sind. Über diese drehbaren   Rundstäbe   b sind   erfindungsgemäss   Holzwalzen a geschoben.
