The invention relates to a table top for a parasol, which is attached to the umbrella stick or the standpipe of the same and consists of two interconnectable halves, the fixation of the table top on the umbrella stick or on the standpipe by means of a
Clamping screw is done.
A table top is known from AT-PS No. 327427, which can be attached to the standpipe of a parasol. This table top is not adjustable in height and can only be used in conjunction with a standpipe, the outside diameter of which is precisely matched to the inside diameter of the hole in the table top.
Furthermore, DE-OS 3247219 is a rotatable table attachment for enlarging the
Known table surface. This table top consists of two halves that are connected by four brackets. The table top formed in this way is rotatable about the umbrella stick on a flange which is clamped by a screw on the umbrella stick. Due to the possibility of twisting the table top, there is a risk of objects tipping over, such as
Bottles, glasses or the like
The object of the invention is to provide a table top which is higher adjustable and is also suitable for fastening to umbrella poles or standpipes of different outside diameters, the assembly and disassembly being carried out quickly and easily. The table top should also be protected against twisting.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the halves are articulated at one of their ends with a hinge and can be locked at the other ends with a locking hook which is rotatably fastened to one of the halves and into a bolt fastened to the other half intervenes that each of the halves has an extension on the contacting sides, the extensions in the locked state of the halves forming a sleeve that surrounds the umbrella pole or the standpipe, and that one of the extensions is transverse to the axis of the umbrella pole or the Standpipe lying bore with internal thread for receiving the clamping screw with handle.
Further features and details of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawings. 1 shows a cross section through the table top according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a top view of the table top in the assembled state, and FIG. 3 shows a top view of the table top in the disassembled state.
In Fig. 1, the first half denotes and the second half the table top. Both halves --1, 2-- are preferably semicircular and each have an upward extension-3, 4-in the middle, which has a semicircular groove --5, 6-- on the inside. The extension --3-- of the first half --1-- is provided with a bore --7-- with an internal thread, transverse to the axis of the umbrella pole or standpipe-17- (Fig. 2), into which a screw - 8-- with handle --9-- screwed in. Both halves-1, 2-- have an angled edge --10, 11--, which points downward according to FIG. 1.
The table top can also be placed upside down so that the edge 10, 11-- points upwards.
As can be seen from Figs. 2 and 3, the two halves --1, 2-- at one end, e.g. B. hinged with a hinge-12--, while at the other end, z. B. with one on the first half-l-rotatably fastened locking bars --13-- and a bolt - can be mutually locked on the second half. To make it easier to lock the two halves --1, 2--, there are handle holes --15, 16-- in the two halves near the locking hook --13-- or the bolt --14-- 1, 2-- provided. To be able to use the table top as a shelf, it only needs to be installed rotated by 1800 so that the angled edges --10, 11-- point upwards.
The two extensions --3, 4-- thus form a sleeve that encloses the umbrella pole or the standpipe --17--. The radius of the semicircular troughs --5, 6-- is selected so that e.g. B. a screen stick or standpipe --17-- with an outer diameter of 38 mm can be added. The table top is preferably made of plastic. The diameter of the table top is, for example, 400 mm, but can be made larger or smaller as required.
