The invention relates to a continuous caster, in particular a continuous caster for producing steel slabs, with a continuous mold and downstream roller conveyors supporting the strand on opposite sides, the rollers of which are arranged one behind the other
Support elements are mounted, with at least one with its focal jet between adjacent
Support elements, in particular flame cutting device projecting between end rollers of adjacent support elements, can be moved along a guide arranged normal to the longitudinal axis of the roller tracks.
In continuous casting plants, there is the problem of removing a strand which is stuck between the roller conveyors and which has cooled too much due to a defect or has solidified at all. If you try to pull out such a strand by force, you run the risk of damage to the roller conveyors that would not allow you to continue working with the system without prior repair of the roller conveyors.
From DE-AS 2645043 a continuous casting installation of the type described in the introduction is known, in which the flame cutting device is mounted on a carriage, which carriage can be moved along stationary rails arranged parallel and laterally to the strand guide. The flame cutting device is slidably attached to the carriage transversely to the longitudinal extension of the rails, so that it projects over the carriage during flame cutting. This device is very complicated and complex and, because of the relatively wide cantilever of the flame cutting device, in particular in the case of continuous slab caster systems, must be of very solid construction. Because of the solid construction, it is again necessary to remove the rolls supporting the roller tracks to make them accessible to the flame cutting device, which is a time-consuming process.
The invention aims at avoiding these disadvantages and difficulties and has as its object to create a continuous casting installation of the type described at the outset, with which a strand which is in the installation can be cut quickly and easily, the mechanical engineering expenditure being kept as low as possible and the Facility is protected during the casting operation.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that consoles which are arranged one behind the other and rigidly mounted thereon are arranged on a cross member in the longitudinal direction thereof, on which a guide rail running parallel to the cross members can be detachably placed, and in that the flame cutting device can be moved along this guide rail. This makes it possible to remove the guide rail while the system is operating, so that it is not exposed to rusting, scaling, etc. while the system is operating. In the case of a strand connector, the guide rail is mounted on the brackets and the flame cutting device is placed on the guide rail.
It has proven to be expedient if such a flame cutting device in a continuous casting installation with a support element designed as a bending zone downstream of the continuous mold, a circular arc-shaped support segment following the bending zone in the longitudinal direction of the roller conveyors and a subsequent support element designed as a directional zone with its cutting beam into the gap protrudes between the end rollers of the bending zone and the arcuate support segment, with a further flame cutting device protruding into the gap between the end rollers of the arcuate support segment and the straightening zone.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings using an exemplary embodiment, in which FIG. 1 shows a schematic side view of a continuous casting installation and FIG. 2 shows a detail of this installation on an enlarged scale. FIG. 3 illustrates a section along the line III-III of FIG. 2.
The continuous caster shown is one with a straight continuous mold --1--, with casters --2-- attached to its outlet. Following the castors - there are two opposing roller conveyors --3, 4-- to support the broad sides

and 8-- divided transverse to the longitudinal direction -9- of the roller conveyors. The first section --6-- represents the so-called bending zone, in which the strand --5-- emerging from the mold-1 straight line is bent into a circular arc shape. The on this first section --6--
