Description

The invention relates to a strand guide for a continuous sheet caster, in particular for a steel slab caster, with at least one arcuate, horizontally displaceable support and guide frame.

It is known from AT-PS 290 750 and AT-PS 341 698 to move an arch-shaped support and guide frame out of the continuous casting plant in the horizontal direction in the arch plane. This has the advantage that no complex devices are necessary for this; it is only necessary to provide a carriage which can be moved on rails (AT-PS 341 698) on which the support and guide arch can be placed, or wheels can also be provided directly on the support and guide frame (AT-PS 290 750). However, a lot of space is required in the arch plane with these constructions, which requires a large hall construction.

It is also known u. from DE-PS 2 425 883 or l 285 095, shorter supporting and guiding scaffolds, which are lined up to form a quarter-circular arch-shaped framework, in the arch plane first transverse to the strand direction in the direction of the center of curvature of the arc-shaped supporting and guiding framework and then vertically expand upwards. This design requires complicated and expensive guides for the parts to be removed, which guides take up the space up to the center of curvature of the support and guide frame and thus limit the space and clarity on the casting platform; The accessibility to individual system parts is also impaired in these known constructions.

According to DE-AS 1 920 757, it is also known to move such shorter support and guide scaffolds radially outward in the arch plane for the purpose of removal, then to move them downward outside the arc-shaped support and guide scaffold and then horizontally outwards to move the system. This construction not only requires very complex rail guides with switches, etc., but also the space and thus the accessibility to the system is greatly impaired.

The invention aims to avoid these disadvantages and difficulties and has as its object to create a strand guide of the type described above, in which the displaceable support and guide scaffold can be easily removed and installed, but with good access to the system , the space on the casting platform is not limited and the smallest possible hall size is required.

These objects are achieved according to the invention in that the supporting and guiding frame is mounted on at least one intermediate frame which is adjustable in the arch plane and the intermediate frame is supported on at least one support frame which is adjustable transversely to the arch plane.

According to a preferred embodiment, both the intermediate and the support frame are designed as a chassis, the intermediate frame being movable on rails arranged horizontally on the chassis and in the arch plane, and expediently for displacing the support and guide scaffold in the arch plane and at right angles thereto stationary pressure medium cylinders which can be coupled to the support and guide frame or to the supporting frame are provided. The use of pressure medium cylinders has, for example, the advantage over traction motors arranged on the chassis that no electrical supply lines have to be provided, which would be undesirable in the water-loaded cooling chamber. Pressure fluid cylinders also have advantages over endless chain or cable drives; they are better and easier to protect against pollution from scale and rust.

It is particularly advantageous if a pressure medium cylinder with a smaller stroke than the total travel path of the support frame is provided for moving the support frame, the support frame being able to be coupled with an extension of the piston rod of the pressure medium cylinder at different distances from the pressure medium cylinder, since this results in a relative short pressure medium cylinder.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, in which Fig. 1 is a schematic side view of a continuous caster, Fig. 1a is a detail on a larger scale, Fig. 2 is an analog representation with the support and guide frame lowered and Fig. 3 is a section along the line III-III of Fig. 2 show on an enlarged scale. In FIG. 4, a support frame is moved to its outermost end position in a representation analogous to FIG. 3.

Below the mold 1 there is the bending zone 2, to which an arc-shaped, approximately quarter-circular arc-shaped one-piece supporting and guiding frame 3 for the strand then connects. Subsequently, a driving roller stand 4 and then the straightening unit 5 with a subsequent further driving roller stand 4 and subsequent horizontal strand guide 6 are provided. The arch-shaped support and guide frame 3 has on its outside in each case paired cambered support surfaces 7, 8 at different heights, with which, after loosening its fasteners 9 on the stationary support frame 10 and lowering by means of lifting elements, such as pressure medium cylinders, each on a counter support surface 11 one Intermediate frame 12 can be placed, each support surface 7, 8 each having its own an intermediate frame 12 having a counter support surface 11 is assigned.

16 zugeordnet. Die Schienen 18 sind am ortsfesten Stützgerüst 10 montiert. Each intermediate frame 12 is designed as a chassis and can be moved by means of wheels 13 on rails 14 arranged horizontally in the plane of the arc. These rails 14 are mounted on support frames 15, 16, each support frame also being designed as a chassis which can be moved by means of wheels 17 on rails 18 arranged horizontally and at right angles to the plane of the arc. A respective support frame 15 or 16 is assigned to a pair of support surfaces 7 or 8 arranged at the same height. The rails 18 are mounted on the stationary support frame 10.

To move the support and guide frame 3 in the arch plane, a pressure medium cylinder 19, which is provided below the upper support frame 16 and is fixedly mounted on the support frame 10 and can be coupled to the support and guide frame 3, is used. It is shown in FIG. 1 in the retracted, uncoupled position, in FIG. 2, however, in the engaged position.

A pressure medium cylinder 20, on the piston rod 21 of which a tube 22 is mounted as an extension, is used to move the support frames 15, 16. This tube 22 extends into a sleeve 23 of the support frame 15 or 16 and can be connected to this sleeve 23 by means of a bolt 24 which can be removed and inserted by hand. The stroke 25 of the pressure medium cylinder 20 is only a fraction of the total process path 26. The tube 22 has several bores 27, 27 ', 27 ", 27'" ... distributed over its length, into which the bolt 24 can be inserted , whereby the sleeve 23 can be attached to the pipe 22 at different distances from the pressure medium cylinder 20.

Jeder Bolzen 29 durchsetzt dabei Bohrungen 30 der Zwischengestelle 12 und korrespondierende Bohrungen 31 der Platten 28.The intermediate frames 12 are each laterally protected by plates 28 mounted on the respective frame 15, 16 and can be fixed to the plates 28 by means of bolts 29 and thus in their position relative to the frame 15, 16. Each bolt 29 passes through bores 30 of the intermediate frames 12 and corresponding bores 31 of the plates 28.

The function of the facility when removing the support and guide scaffolding is as follows:

First, the support and guide frame 3 is lowered after loosening its attachment 9 to the support frame 10 by means of the lifting elements until it rests with its support surfaces 7, 8 on the counter support surfaces 11 of the two intermediate frames 12. Then the pressure medium cylinder 19 is coupled to the support and guide frame 3 and, with the help of the pressure medium cylinder, the support and guide frame is pulled outward in the direction of arrow 33 by the travel path 32 of the intermediate frames 12. As a result, the ends 34, 35 of the support and guide frame 3 are disengaged from the ends of adjacent strand guide elements, that is, the drive roller frame 4, which is arranged between the support and guide frame 3 to be removed and the straightening unit 5, and the bending zone 2.

Following this movement of the support and guide frame 3, the connection of the pressure medium cylinder 19 to the support and guide frame is released and the pressure medium cylinder 20 is acted upon and its piston rod 21 is retracted by the stroke 25 of the pressure medium cylinder, as a result of which it is inserted into the tube 22 by means of the bolt 24 coupled support frame 15 is moved laterally about the stroke 25 of the piston rod 21, that is to say perpendicular to the plane of the arc (in the direction of the arrow 36). After removing the bolt 24, the piston rod 21 of the pressure medium cylinder 20 is extended again until the second bore 27 'of the tube 22 is aligned with the bore of the sleeve 23, then the sleeve 23 is connected to the tube 22 again by means of the bolt 24. Subsequently, the pressure medium cylinder 20 is again acted upon and a further movement of the support frame 15 around the stroke 25 takes place. In this way, both support frames 15, 16 are moved step by step.

It is particularly advantageous that no cable drives or chain drives must be used that are easily contaminated and difficult to maintain, and that no electric motors are required that can cause difficulties in the water - loaded cooling chamber. The connection of the piston rod 21 to the support frame 15 or 16 requires only very rough fits, ie the sleeve 23 can completely surround the tube 22, so that this device always remains operational even when heavily soiled by rust and scale. Also, the pressure medium cylinder 20, which has only a short stroke 25, takes up very little space and is accordingly inexpensive.

Instead of the bolt 24, which can be inserted by hand, a ratchet-like device could also be used, which allows the sleeve to move relative to the tube in only one direction. To push back the support and guide frame 3, this device would have to be switchable, so that the relative movement can optionally also be carried out in the opposite direction.

The invention can also be implemented for shorter support and guide frames arranged one behind the other, each support and guide frame being movable by means of at least one intermediate and support frame.
