<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

The invention relates to a snap-lock door lock with locks adjustable by means of a drive rod, which engage in a lock housing on the door frame when the door leaf is closed and are displaceable behind a housing web for locking purposes. as well as with a latch attached to the drive rod. the one housed in a housing on the door frame. Interacting spring latch counteract perpendicular to the direction of displacement of the drive rod.
For outside doors that can only be locked from the inside. to be able to fix the door leaf in its closed position even when the bolts are not brought into engagement with the lock housing. snap lock closures are provided which consist of a catch arranged on the door leaf and a resilient counter-catch on the door frame. If the catch is firmly attached to the door wing, there is the disadvantage that the snap lock closure is always effective when the door is closed, that is to say also then. if, in the case of a door lock, the bolts, together with the lock housing, take on the task of fixing the sash. The snap lock closure is therefore exposed to increased stress and also complicates the tilt opening or
Tilt closure of the sash, since the action of the snap lock is also unnecessary when the sash is tilted.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, it has already been proposed (DE-OS 2458800) not to arrange the catch firmly on the door leaf, but to connect it to the drive rod. which results in a forced shifting of the catch with the actuation of the drive rod. The catch can therefore only cooperate with the counter-catch arranged in an unadjustable manner on the stick frame in the pivoted open position, but not in the tilted position or the locked position. A disadvantage of this known construction, however, is that the catch and the counter-catch housed in a separate housing represent separate construction parts that require additional assembly work.
The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a snap lock door lock of the type described in such a way that no additional operations are required for mounting the lock on the door.
The invention achieves the object in that at least one bolt is designed with a catch and the counter-catch is arranged in the associated lock housing. With this measure, a snap-lock lock is obtained in the simplest way, which does not require additional stop work, because existing construction parts are used. As a result, separate construction parts for the snap-lock fastener can also be dispensed with, in which only a resilient counter-catch has to be fitted in the lock housing.
In a further development of the invention, such a counter detent can be formed from a head of a threaded shaft which is rotatably and axially displaceably held in a passage opening arranged parallel to the floor level and which engages in a non-rotatable but axially displaceable nut, the threaded shaft with the nut preferably being countered by means of a the head acting spring is pressed against a stop. Since such a counter detent can easily be accommodated in a tubular extension of the lock housing, the lock housing only needs to be provided with such an extension, a snap lock closure then being able to be used as required or not.
If the counter-catch has a groove arranged in the connecting rod displacement direction, which receives a spherical cap-shaped bulge of the bolt which forms the catch, the possible rotatability of the bolt for adjusting the contact pressure of the door leaf can be maintained in a simple manner if the bulge is only coaxial with the axis of rotation of the bolt lies. With such a design, the known eccentric bars and also the central bars with an oval head can therefore be used.
The counter detent can also consist of a leaf spring arranged parallel to the floor level, which protrudes over the housing web serving for locking into the path of the corresponding bolt which is covered when the door leaf is closed. This measure also ensures that the latches can be adjusted to adapt to a specific system pressure of the door leaf because the leaf spring is pressed out of its path by the bolt when the door leaf is closed and then springs back into its starting position, the spring force being overcome to open the door leaf got to.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
However, such a design principle is not limited to the use of a leaf spring or the like. For the same purpose, the counter-catch can consist of a resiliently pushable head of the housing web serving for locking, this head having to protrude into the path of the corresponding bolt which is covered when the door leaf is closed.
In the drawings, the subject of the invention is shown in one embodiment.
1 shows a lock housing with a counter-latch in partial section, FIG. 2 shows a cross section through the door frame and leaf in the area of a snap lock, FIG. 3 shows a top view of a lock housing with a construction variant of the counter-latch, FIG. 4 shows a further construction variant of a lock housing with counter-latching in a top view and FIG. 5 shows a type of representation of a snap lock closure according to FIG. 4 corresponding to FIG. 2.
The lock shown consists in the usual way of a lock housing --2-- inserted in the door frame --1-- which interacts with a bolt --3-- which is riveted to a connecting rod - and through a longitudinal slot - 5-- which protrudes through the faceplate --8-- in the wing --7-- for the connecting rod --4-- covering the faceplate. If the connecting rod --4-- is moved from the basic position that enables opening of the leaf to the locking position via a lock (not shown), the bolt --3-- gets behind the housing web --9-of the locking housing --2--, whereby the wing is held against the stick.
However, will
EMI2.1
--3-- ausBiegel --3-- is in its basic position which allows the sash to be opened, a counter-detent --11-- is provided in the lock housing --2--, which can be locked with the bolt --3-- as Rest cooperates.
The resiliently supported counter detent can be constructed in various ways. 1 and 2, it is formed by a head of a threaded shaft --12--, which is in a parallel
EMI2.2
into a non-rotatable but axially displaceable nut --15-- and is pressed against a stop by a spring --16-- acting on the head forming the counter-catch --11-- with the nut --15-- 17-- pressed. The counter detent --11-- can therefore deflect against the force of the spring --16-- and engage in the bolt with a groove --3-- when the sash is closed.
In order to be able to compensate for the distance between the bolt --3-- and the bottom of the lock housing --2--, the threaded shaft --12-- can be adjusted with respect to the nut --15--.
According to Fig. 3, the counter detent --11-- consists of a leaf spring, which protrudes over the housing web - into the path of the bolt --3-- which is covered when the door leaf is closed. When the door leaf is closed or opened, the bolt --3-- indicated by the dot-dash line is therefore moved past the leaf spring, which evades the bolt due to its spring properties. A spring clip or the like could of course also replace the leaf spring.
4 and 5 a snap lock closure similar to that of FIGS. 1 and 2 is shown.
In contrast to the construction according to FIGS. 1 and 2, however, it is not the counter detent --11--, but the bolt --3-- that is bulged, whereas the counter detent --11-- is one in the direction of displacement of the drive rod --4-- has arranged gutter. By providing a spherical dome-shaped bulge --18-- of the bolt --3-- the adjustability of the bolt can be maintained in order to regulate the contact pressure of the wing --7--. The spherical dome-shaped protrusion --18-- retains its outline shape in relation to the counter-latch in every rotational position of the oval or eccentric bolt --3--, so that the snap lock closure is always equally effective regardless of the adjustment of the bolt --3--.
The only condition for this is that the bulge - coaxial to the axis of rotation of the bolt --3--.
Compared to this construction, the design according to FIG. 3 is advantageous in that bars of previous forms can also be used without restriction.
