Adjustment device for looms when thin spots appear in the fabric.
The present invention relates to a storage device for looms, in which a lever provided with a feeler tip and constantly resting on the last part of the fabric causes the loom to be switched off when so-called thin spots are created by irregular weft insertion in the fabric. The essence of the invention consists in the special design of the sensor tip.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows the previous embodiment of such a storage device, FIG. 2 shows the configuration of the sensor tip according to the invention.
In the previous version of the storage device, the shaft 3 is mounted in bearing eyes 2 attached to the chest tree. With the shaft 3 in one piece, on the one hand, the arm 4, on which the sensor tip 5 sits immobile, and, on the other hand, the arm 7, which passes freely through an eyelet 8 of the push rod ss. The latter is by means of
EMI1.1
Countersinking a tooth of the head 12 attached to the bullet guard hammer 12 ′.
As long as the production of the fabric progresses properly, the probe tip slides on the fabric; but if a so-called thin point arises in the tissue due to irregular weft insertion, the probe tip penetrates through the tissue as soon as the said thin tissue part comes to lie underneath, whereby the arm 4 lowers.
This causes the arm 7 to move down and allow the rod 9 to fall into the tooth of the swinging gunshot guard hammer hook 12, thereby moving the Hrustbaum lever 11 and bringing the loom to a standstill.
The device described so far is known and does not form the subject of the present invention.
Novel is the probe tip 14 respectively. the angle lever 18 carrying them is rotatably arranged on the support arms 4 against the action of a spring 15. The stop pin 16 limits the rotation of the angle lever 13. The purpose of this resilient tip is to protect the tissue.
