The invention relates to a screw connection for attaching a fitting part, for. B. one
Bearing, in an approximately U-shaped profile having frame, in particular light metal or
Plastic frames of windows, doors or the like, in which the fitting part in the through the U-shaped
Profile formed groove-shaped opening of the frame can be used or inserted in the longitudinal direction of this opening and is fixed in this by at least one screw.
A screw connection is known by means of which the cover strip is screwed to a profile support, the screws reaching through a hole in the cover strip and being screwed into two mutually opposite longitudinal grooves of the profile support. The mutually opposite longitudinal grooves are therefore located on the same component.
In a known other screw connection, a socket is locked in a bore wall by means of a locking bolt designed as a non-circular cylinder, which is provided with parallel grooves or grooves perpendicular to the bolt axis, by turning the locking bolt in the bore wall by the projecting part provided with a bolt attachment of the locking bolt protrudes beyond the circumference of the can and engages in an opening in the drilling wall that is approximately adapted to the locking bolt. Such a lock assumes that the opening in the drilling wall is exactly at that
Must be the opposite of the locking bolt in the box, so that an effective engagement is ensured.
The invention is based on the object of enabling a screw connection of the type mentioned with the simplest possible means even if there is no overlap of the frame profile over the cross-section of the fitting part, holes in the profile frame for receiving screws or the like are to be avoided and a precisely predetermined position of the screw connection in the longitudinal direction of the profiled frame is not provided.
The invention accordingly consists in that the screw is inserted into the gap between the facing surfaces of the fitting part on the one hand and a U-shaped leg of the frame that laterally delimits the groove-shaped opening or a strip-shaped projection on the frame protruding laterally into the opening and on the other hand only with diametrically opposed to thread sectors limited parts of its thread on its one radial side with the fitting part and on its other radial side with the frame by means of teeth in toothed engagement.
The invention ensures that the profile of the frame is only slightly, e.g. B. by means of groove-shaped toothing is claimed, strong weakening of the profile od by holes. Like. However, avoided. The screws can also be placed anywhere on the profile frame without being tied to the presence and location of holes. The screw can be arranged in the space between the two parts to be connected to one another and clamped between these two parts, that is, it can simultaneously engage in two different components in mutually facing locations.
The fitting part to be fastened in the frame can be displaced as desired in the longitudinal direction of the relevant frame member without a local adjustment between the screw and a recess in the two parts to be connected being necessary.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one of the teeth for the toothed engagement of the fitting and the frame with the screw is formed by longitudinal grooves extending in the longitudinal direction of the groove-shaped opening or, if the screw is designed as a thread-cutting tool, only when the screw is screwed in.
The screw advantageously has flattened areas on one or both sides in the axial area of its thread, so that its thread sectors are out of engagement with the toothing of the frame and the fitting part in one rotational position of the screw and the screw in the other rotational position of its thread sectors between the two parts is tense.
The screw can be arranged perpendicularly or at an angle to the main plane of the frame. Further details of the invention can be found in the following description of exemplary embodiments. Fig. an embodiment of the invention in an axial section through the screw, FIG. 2 a plan view of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 a perspective view of the screw used in FIGS. 1 and 2, FIG. 4 a second embodiment of the invention, also in an axial section by the screw, FIG. 5 a top view of FIG. 4 and FIG. 6 a variant of FIG. 4.
As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, between the frame --220--, e.g. B. made of light metal or plastic, and the fitting part --224 -, which can be used for any purpose, such as the frames of windows and doors
