Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The invention relates to a concrete block with legs of different lengths that are at least approximately at right angles to one another.

It is known to set the steps of garden stairs from two plates, namely the tread plate and the step plate using cement mortar. This has to be done by highly paid pavers because the steps of a staircase should have constant heights.

There are also concrete blocks known from the specialist literature (see "Bau Konstruktionslehre" by Martin Mittag, p. 204) which are designed with two legs of different lengths that are at right angles to one another. Although such blocks facilitate the production of stairs, they are disadvantageous insofar as they are due to their flatness in the sub-floor, for. B. in the ground, are not well anchored and as they are also only suitable for the production of stairs but not at the same time for the production of water cascades.

The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a component which is improved in the sense of the above statements. This is achieved according to the invention in that the legs are formed laterally with strips protruding transversely from the leg surfaces.

The object of the invention is shown below with reference to one in the drawings
 EMI1.1
perspective view, in side view, in front view and in plan view and FIGS. 5 and 6 show a water cascade in side view and in plan view.

A building block according to the invention consists of a step plate - 2 - and one at right angles to it
 EMI1.2
 lateral ridges --4-- is formed.

By means of such building blocks, water cascades according to FIGS. 5 and 6 can be produced, the lateral strips - 4 - serving to form a water channel. If the building blocks are laid in such a way that the lateral strips - 4 - protrude downwards, they are used to create stairs, whereby the strips - 4 - provide good anchoring of the building blocks in the ground, e.g. B. in the ground is guaranteed.

Thus, a building block is created which is suitable both for the production of stairs and for water cascades and which can be well anchored in the sub-floor when used for the production of stairs.
