<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>

The invention relates to a device for attaching a profile strip made of a wood material, in particular in the corner area between floor and wall or wall and ceiling, consisting of mounting pieces distributed over the length of the profile strip, preferably attachable to the wall, the two opposite one another in Having longitudinal legs of the profile strip and projecting against this holding legs, which engage in a snap-in recess of the profile strip like a snap.
In order to achieve a holder for the profiled strip, for example a chair strip, which is covered by the profiled strip to be fastened, it is known to fasten U-shaped holding pieces on the wall, the legs of which have outwardly directed latching lugs at their free ends, and the profiled strips to provide the wall side facing the profile with an undercut groove on both sides, in which the holding legs of the mounting pieces engage with their snap-in lugs. However, these fastening devices are unsuitable for profile strips made of a wood-based material, because with the limited groove width, the undercuts cannot be machined with a milling tool with sufficient cutting performance.
This is because milling tools with a corresponding minimum diameter that is larger than the groove width are required. In order to nevertheless obtain an equivalent fastening for wooden strips, it has already been proposed to drive several plastic inserts into the groove of the wooden strip, which have the undercuts required for the snap closure.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
A disadvantage of these plastic inserts, however, is the additional effort. If the holding legs of metallic mounting pieces are not provided with latching noses, but with barb-like claws that claw in the groove walls when they engage in a groove in the wooden strip, the disadvantage must be accepted that the profiled strips can no longer be detached from the mounting pieces without damage to let.
The invention is therefore based on the object to improve a fastening device for a profile strip made of a wood material of the type described above with simple constructive means that no additional inserts for the profile strip are required and nonetheless a non-destructive removal of the profile strip from the mounting pieces can be ensured .
The invention solves this problem in that one of the two the profile strip between clamping holding legs is provided with a protruding nose against the other leg, which engages behind an undercut profile shoulder of the profile strip formed by a profile recess, and the other effective as a counter-holding leg bears against a stop surface of the profile strip facing away from the undercut profile shoulder.
As a result of these measures, the profile strip is clamped between the two holding legs of the holding pieces, one leg. a profile shoulder resulting from a profile recess engages from the outside, the size and shape of this profile recess can be selected independently of the mutual spacing of the holding legs in accordance with the space requirements of the milling tool, which means a corresponding machining of the

the shoulder undercut enables so that plastic inserts or the like that are otherwise necessary are unnecessary.
No undercut is required for the other holding leg, because this holding leg is only used as a counter-holder
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
is placed on a stop surface facing away from the shoulder and prevents the profile strip from moving away from the leg with the latching nose and subsequently becoming detached from the mounting pieces. The profile strip is released by forcing the profile strip between the two holding legs of the mounting pieces, which is easily possible because only one of the holding legs has a latching lug.
In order to facilitate the snap-type latching of the locking lugs into the locking recess formed by the undercut of the profile shoulder when the profile strip is attached to the mounting pieces mounted on the wall, in a further development of the invention the profile shoulder of the profile strip can form an inclined contact surface for the holding legs with the locking lug, which are spread out as they slide onto the contact surface until the locking lugs reach the undercut of the shoulder.
The profile recess provided to form the profile shoulder advantageously provides space for accommodating cables or lines. Since in general such profile strips are attached in the corner area between floor and wall or wall and ceiling, there is the greatest amount of space in this corner area, so that particularly favorable construction conditions are created when the corner between floor and wall or
Wall and ceiling closer holding legs of the bracket pieces has the latch.
If the mounting pieces have a support leg for the profile strip, which is preferably provided in the area of the profile recess, then a particularly rigid, play-free strip attachment is made possible. Such a support leg namely prevents unwanted canting of the profile strip, which could otherwise occur under certain circumstances because of the one-sided locking nose holder if the profile strip is not in contact with the wall or the floor or the ceiling.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
In order to enable the use of sufficiently large milling tools for the undercut of the profile shoulder, the angle between the profile shoulder and the recess reason connected to it should be at least 90 ". If one takes into account in this connection that the profile shoulder forms an inclined contact surface, the following results on the shoulder a minimum free space reaching to the wall-side profile boundary, which has the shape of a right-angled triangle in cross-section, which allows the use of milling tools that protrude beyond the outline shape of the profile cross-section.
The subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing, for example. 1 shows a device according to the invention for fastening a
Profile strip made of a wood material in a schematic cross section, FIG. 2 shows a representation of a construction variant corresponding to FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 shows a profile strip according to the invention in cross section.
The fastening device for a profile strip 1 made of a wood material consists, according to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, of mounting pieces 4 screwed onto the wall 2 in the corner area from the bottom 3 at a distance in the longitudinal direction of the profile strip 1, each of which has two opposite, extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile Have holding legs 5 and 6, which protrude against the profile bar 1 and clamp the profile bar 1 between them like a snap lock. For this purpose, the profile strip 1 is provided with a profile shoulder 7, which is formed by a profile recess 8, with an undercut 9 for the locking engagement, a locking lug 10 provided on the holding leg 5 and directed towards the other holding leg 6.
The holding leg 6, which interacts with the holding leg 5 as a counter-holder, is designed without a detent and rests on a stop surface 11 of the profiled strip 1, which through the wall of a profile
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
filnut 12 is obtained. To attach the profile bar 1, this is only to be plugged onto the holding pieces 4, the holding legs 5 and 6 clamping the profile bar between them, which is used for a clamping projection 13 between the shoulder 7 and the groove 1? forms. This clamping projection 13 has a recess 14 in order to make room for receiving the heads of the fastening screws 15 for the mounting pieces 4.
To make it easier to attach the profile strip 1, the shoulder 7 forms an inclined contact surface 16 for the locking lug 10 of the holding leg 5, which is thus spread out accordingly when the profile strip 1 is attached until the locking lug 10 engages behind the undercut 9 of the profile shoulder 7 like a snap lock.
Since the mounting pieces 4 additionally have a support leg 17, preferably resting on the floor 3, for the profile strip 1, the profile strip 1 can be kept free of play. To release the profile strip 1 from the mounting pieces 4, the profile strip between the holding legs 5 and 6 can be forced out by the profile strip 1, for example in the region of its upper longitudinal edge. 18 is lifted off the wall 2. This loosening is easily possible because the holding leg 6 is designed without a locking lug and only bears against the stop surface 11 as a counter-holder.
The construction of the fastening device according to FIG. 2 differs from that according to FIG. 1 essentially only in that the mounting pieces 4 have no additional support leg 17. The profile bar 1 is supported on the bottom 3, so that again a good holder is given. Regardless of the shape of the profile bar 1, the advantages according to the invention can be ensured if the mounting pieces 4 with their hat legs 5 and 6 clamp the profile bar 1 between them, the retaining leg 5 engaging behind a profile shoulder 7 with the protruding latching nose 10, which according to a profile recess 8 results.
This profile recess 8 must provide sufficient space for a milling tool that has a
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
may have minimum diameters in order to ensure adequate cutting performance for producing the undercut 9. For this purpose, it is advisable to choose the angle a between the profile shoulder 7 delimited by the contact surface 16 and the recess base 19, as is shown in broken lines in FIG. 3. With a profile limitation of this type, a milling tool can be used which, due to its larger diameter, projects far beyond the outline shape of the profile strip 1.
If the angle a is chosen to be larger, as is shown by the fully extended profile strip limitation in FIG. 3, there is naturally a greater free space for the milling tool. This larger free space can, however, also be used to accommodate cables or lines, as can be seen in FIG. 1, in which such a line 20 is indicated by dash-dotted lines.
