Es sind bereits Insektenfallen für Möbelft1sse bekannt, welche aus die Füsse der Möbelstücke umgebenden schüsselartigen Vorrichtungen bestehen, in welche ein Insekten- verti ! gungsmittel gebracht und hiedurch verhindert wird, dass die Insekten vom Fussboden auf das Möbelstück oder umgekehrt vom Möbelstück auf den Fussboden gelangen, ohne das Insektenvertilgungsmittel zu passieren.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt eine Verbesserung dieser Insektenfallen zu bewirken, und zwar in der Richtung, dass die Schüssel zwecks Reinigung und Füllen leichter zugänglich ist, was im Sinne der Erfindung dadurch erreicht wird, dass der oberhalb der Schüssel angeordnete Deckel verstellbar angeordnet ist.
In der Zeichnung sind zwei Ausführungen der Insektenfalle im Schnitt dargestellt, und zwar in Fig. 1 für Metallmöbel und in Fig. 2 für Hotzmöbel.
Mit dem Möbelfuss a ist eine Stütze b verbunden, welche, mit einem schüsselartigen Fortsatz c derart versehen ist, dass um die Stütze b herum eine ringförmige Vertiefung d entsteht, in welche das Insektenvertilgungsmittel e, am zweckmässigsten eine Flüssigkeit, gefüllt wird.
Oberhalb der Schüssel c ist ein Deckel f angeordnet, welcher die Schüssel teilweise verdeckt. Der Deckel f ist an der Stütze b auf und nieder schraubbar angeordnet, zu welchem Zwecke die Stütze mit Schraubengewinde und der Deckel f mit Muttergewinde vorsehen ist. Durch diese Anordnung kann der Deckel f die Schüssel ganz verdecken, so dass Staub und Unreinigkeiten nicht in die Schüssel fallen können und die unschöne Schüssel mit dem Insektenvertilgungsmittel nicht sichtbar ist. Behufs Reinigung wird der Deckel aufwärts bis an den Möbelfuss geschraubt.
Das Gewinde an der Stütze b darf nur so weit nach abwärts reichen, dass beim Niederschrauben des Deckels zwischen diesem und der Schüssel noch ein genügend grosser Zwischenraum verbleibt, damit die Insekten vom Schilsselrand nicht auf den Deckel kriechen können. Selbstredend könnte der Deckel auch in anderer Weise verstellbar angeordnet sein.

Insect traps for furniture feet are already known which consist of bowl-like devices surrounding the feet of the furniture, in which an insect vertebra! In the drawing, two versions of the insect trap are shown in section, namely in Fig. 1 for metal furniture and in Fig. 2 for Hotz furniture.
A support b is connected to the furniture foot a, which is provided with a bowl-like extension c in such a way that an annular recess d is created around the support b, into which the insecticide e, most conveniently a liquid, is filled.
Above the bowl c there is a lid f which partially covers the bowl. The cover f is arranged on the support b so that it can be screwed up and down, for which purpose the support is provided with a screw thread and the cover f with a nut thread. This arrangement allows the lid f to completely cover the bowl, so that dust and impurities cannot fall into the bowl and the unsightly bowl with the insecticide is not visible. For cleaning purposes, the lid is screwed up to the furniture foot.
The thread on the support b should only extend so far downwards that when the lid is screwed down there is still a sufficiently large space between it and the bowl so that the insects cannot crawl from the edge of the bowl onto the lid. Of course, the cover could also be arranged to be adjustable in another way.
