<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 3 zeigt den Wannenrand beim Einsetzen.

Closure for light troughs
The invention relates to a closure for lamp troughs, suitable for attachment to the top of the housing cover part or a laterally protruding housing part, in which the holding device engaging the tub edge from the inside is mounted and guided in a springy, flexible transverse direction in a bearing block attached to the housing, and the The guided part received by the bearing block is surrounded by a helical spring which, using the bearing block as an abutment, causes the contact pressure of the holding device.
In the case of a luminaire trough that is not yet part of the state of the art, the part of the holding device received by the bearing block is a T-piece which, with the two extended ends of its flange, is inserted into slits that are open towards the
EMI1.1
gen the flange of the same pressing coil spring on the transverse tab has its abutment.
While rollers, in particular toothed rollers, are provided as a run-up part in this lamp trough, which are accommodated as an axis by the extended ends of the flange, the lamp trough according to the invention is designed so that an extension of the flange in the form of a run-up nose serves as a run-up part, which is bent at the edge of the housing and is provided with a sloping inward and downward facing surface.
The advantage of this arrangement is a simplification of the closure compared to the use of the toothed wheels. The wheels as separate parts are no longer required according to the invention.
The run-up part in the shape of the bent nose is formed by deforming the T-piece. In addition, the arrangement offers the possibility of attaching the bearing block at a greater distance from the pulled-down edge of the housing than in the case of the version with small wheels. Due to the given diameter of the small wheels, a maximum distance between the bearing block and the edge of the housing cannot be exceeded when the pan described above is closed. Due to manufacturing tolerances, however, the edges of the plastic tubs often have unusual edge thicknesses. It has been shown that in the case of the closure with small wheels and in particular with toothed wheels, the distance between the edge of the housing and the front edge of the bearing block is often not sufficient for inserting the edge of the tub.
With a closure according to the invention one has the possibility of making the run-up nose as long as desired and accordingly the bearing block can be set back to a degree that is sufficient in any case for the insertion of plastic tubs, taking into account all occurring thickness tolerances.
With regard to the assembly of this closure, the same advantages exist as with the older arrangement. In this regard, reference can be made to the description thereof.
In the drawings, an embodiment of the invention is shown. 1 shows a side view of the closure with the tub inserted, FIG. 2 shows a view of the closure from below, and FIG. 3 shows a side view of the closure where the tub is first attached.
An essential part of the closure is the T-piece 32 with its web 32a and the flange lying across it. The flange is extended by the axes 31 at both ends. These axes engage in the two slots 34 in the two legs 33 of the bearing block. The slots 34 taper freely towards the interior of the lamp.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The web of the T-piece engages through an opening 37 of a protruding tab 36 of the bearing block arranged transversely to the web. In addition, the web 32a of the T-piece surrounds the helical spring 35.
You will find this abutment on the one hand on the flange 32 of the T-piece, on the other hand on the protruding tab 36 of the bracket. Your task is to bring about the necessary contact pressure.
Towards the edge of the lamp housing, the flange of the T-piece in the form of a bend, denoted by 40, is extended. The bend 40 is continued in the inclined inwardly and downwardly directed contact surface 41. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the two edges of the ramp surface 41 are cut at an angle. The surface of the bearing block resting against the side of the housing edge is also elongated in the form of the bend 42.
This bend serves as an abutment for the inserted tub rim.
Fig. 3 shows the tub edge when it is inserted. If the tub is pressed further in this state,
EMI2.1
Seal 43 holds.
With this closure, the distance between the abutment 42 and the outer vertical edge of the side legs 33 of the bearing block can be selected as large as desired in order to do justice to any thickness of the tub rim. The ramp surface 41 and the rounded portion 43 are formed from the T-piece 32, so that no special parts are required for this.
In the example shown, the abutment surface 42 can also be formed directly by the pulled-down edge of the lamp housing.
