Device for emptying liquid manure pumps.
The invention relates to a device to lift the suction valve from its seat for the complete emptying of liquid manure pumps, whereby the pump contents are allowed to drain.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the pump, wherein the piston is drawn in the lowest position that is permissible during operation, while in Fig. 2 the piston is shown in the position in which it must be brought to the valves Open the draining of the pump cylinder.
In the pump cylinder a, the piston b moves, driven by the rod c.
The pressure valve d, designed as a flap, is rotatably arranged in the piston around the bolt e. The suction valve consists of a rubber ring / which is compressed between two pressure pieces to and h by means of the attachment i provided with nut threads and the rod connected to the divider; the suction valve sits loosely and without guidance on its seat 1.
If the liquid manure pump is to be emptied after use, the piston 11, which during normal pump operation only reaches the position shown in FIG. 1, is pushed deeper into the cylinder a, the pressure flap valve d being opened by the open
EMI1.1
remains. If the piston is pushed further down, the inclined surface of the pressure valve creates a lateral pressure on the attachment i and thus on the suction valve, so that the latter, as shown in FIG. 2, is lifted obliquely from its seat around the valve seat as a fulcrum and the pump is emptied through the opening that has now been created.
