Die Zeichnung zeigt zwei Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung. Es stellen dar : Fig. 1 die Vorderansicht eines Dreh-Kipp-Fensters mit dem erfindungsgemässen Handhebel ; Fig. 2 die Unteransicht des erfindungsgemässen Handhebels mit Getriebegehäuse ohne Deckel ; Fig. 3 den Schnitt III-III nach Fig. 2 ;

Operating lever for fittings on windows, doors or the like.
The invention relates to an operating lever or the like for fittings on windows, doors or the like that can be moved in at least three positions. In particular with turn-tilt fittings, it is often necessary to arrange a gear on the vertical opening side of the window, which in one position closes the sash, the second opens in the tilted position and in the third in the rotary position. For operation, hand levers have been used in some cases, in which one of the operating positions was reached through a middle position of this lever. It is naturally very difficult to adjust this central position without a special stop.
If a notch or the like is provided in order to eliminate this disadvantage, it must first be released again before the lever is pivoted further, which is also cumbersome and is often overlooked at first.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, the lever according to the invention can be moved in two different directions, with each movement being transmitted directly or indirectly to a closure member.
From the closed position of the lever it can now be moved in one direction or the other, in which case, for example in the case of a turn-tilt fitting, the turn or tilt position is assumed again. It is particularly expedient to design the lever in such a way that an obvious actuation of the fitting is achieved. To z. B. to get from the closed position into the tilted position, the lever is expediently pulled away from the window sash while it is pivoted into the rotary position when opening.
The two movements of the lever can be transmitted either to a separate or to a common locking element. The last-mentioned possibility of course achieves a considerable simplification and also a saving of gear and fitting parts. A particular problem with windows, doors or the like that can be opened in two directions is to avoid incorrect operation when they are open. The lever according to the invention offers a particularly simple and safe solution for this. According to a further feature of the invention, the lever or a transmission element fixedly connected to it is arranged in a guide or the like in such a way that after the movement in one direction has started, the other direction of movement is blocked.
The lever is preferably pivotable about two different axes. One axis is expediently arranged approximately perpendicularly and the other approximately horizontally to the plane of the wing. A particularly simple construction is obtained if a transmission member, in particular a pin, is provided on the lever, which engages in the elongated hole of a slide or similar part, the slide being longitudinally displaceable only in one direction of movement of the transmission member and the elongated hole obliquely to the other direction of movement runs. In this way, both movements of the lever can be transmitted in the same direction to a common slide or a gear rod.
If, on the other hand, two gear rods are to be moved, then, according to a further feature of the invention, one of the axes of the lever pivoted about two mutually perpendicular axes is designed as a square, protrudes through an elongated hole in the drive element of a gear rod or the like and engages directly into another Gear rod or the like.
The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the invention. The figures show: FIG. 1 the front view of a turn-tilt window with the hand lever according to the invention; 2 shows the bottom view of the hand lever according to the invention with a gear housing without a cover; FIG. 3 the section III-III according to FIG. 2;

can achieve a very simple single-lever operation of the turn-tilt fitting in this way. The pivoting movement of the hand levers 16 and 33 about the bolts 17 and 35 is expediently used to trigger the tilting movement, while the rotational movement of these levers is assigned to the rotational movement of the window sash 4.
