dem freien Ende bei 3b verjüngt, so dass das Ende eines Rohres 6 aufgeschoben und mittels Nieten, Schrauben od. dgl. befestigt werden kann. Dadurch werden die beiden Hälften der Gabel 3 zusammengehalten.
Mit 4 ist ein Schieber bezeichnet, der über einer Öffnung 4a in der Richtung der Stange oder des Griffes 6 längs verschiebbar ist. Um einem Bolzen 11 dieses Schiebers 4 ist eine Schlinge 12a eines Betätigungsdrahtes 12 gelegt, so dass dieser Schieber 4 an der Stange 6 geführt und gegen Abheben gesichert ist. Bei 10 sind zwei Querbolzen in der Stange 6 vorgesehen, gegen die sich das eine Widerlager 9 der Feder 8 abstützt. Das zweite Widerlager 9a für die Feder 8 ist auf dem Betätigungsdraht 12 aufgefädelt und legt sich gegen das in das Rohr hineinragende Ende der Rastzunge 7 an, die mit dem Draht (eine Fahrradspeiche) durch den Kopf 12b im Loch 7a beweglich verbunden ist.
Da der Draht 12 im Bereiche des Schiebers an der Innenseite federnd anliegt und das Ende nach innen abgebogen ist, und die Widerlager 9 und 9a lose auf dem Draht 12 aufgefädelt sind, kann sich der Draht 12 leicht und unbehindert in dem Rohr 6 hinund herschieben.
Mit Ib sind zwei durchlöcherte Platten bezeichnet, und mit 15 ein Rahmen, auf dem die beiden Platten z. B. lose aufgelegt sind. Der Schwamm 14 des Gerätes wird zum Zwecke der Reinigung z. B. eines Kraftfahrzeuges in einer beliebigen Stellung zum Griff oder der Stange 6 in ein Gefäss mit Wasser getaucht, so dass er sich mit Reinigungsflüssigkeit vollsaugt. Nach dem Reinigungsvorgang wird der nunmehr mit Schmutzwasser vollgesaugte Schwamm mit der Ebene des Halters 1 in eine Normalstellung zum Griff 6 gebracht, indem man die Arretierung zwischen Griff und Schwammhalter löst (Schieber 4 wird in der

B. für Kraftfahrzeuge, für Haushaltungsarbeiten od. dgl., bestehend aus einem plat- tenförmigen, gelochten Schwammhalter, an dessen Unterseite ein Viskoseschwamm od. dgl. befestigt ist, während an der Oberseite ein Lager für die drehbare Lagerung eines Handgriffes vorgesehen ist, das eine Kulisse mit zahlreichen Umfangskerben für das Einrasten eines unter Federwirkung stehenden Rastzapfens zum Einstellen des Handgriffes in verschiedenen Stellungen desselben zum Schwammhalter aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an dem gegenüber der mit den Kerben (2c) versehenen zentral angeordneten Kulisse (2) zunächst liegendem Ende des rohrförmigen Handgriffes (6) eine in der Längsrichtung geteilte Gabel (3) in das Rohrende eingesteckt und gesichert ist,
