Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Verfahren zum Herstellen von Isolierglasscheiben
 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

   After completion of the insulating glass pane, dry gas or dry air or another suitable medium can be let into the space through holes provided in the profile strips, whereupon the holes are closed.

   The embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs from that according to FIG. 1 only in that the transverse bar 6 of the profile strip 5 is beaded around the edges of the glass panes 1 and 2 at 7.

   Fig. 3 shows in cross section an insulating glass pane with three glass panes 1-3; in this a profile strip 5 is used, the cross section of which consists of two T placed side by side.

   The various disadvantages of the known insulating glass panes are avoided by the pane produced according to the invention. The glued-in profile strips improve the seal, provide protection for the edge of the glass panel and give it greater stability, as the individual glass panes are protected against slipping sideways.

Claims (1)

PATENT CLAIM: Process for the production of insulating glass panes by gluing the individual glass panes with the spacing profile strips made of thermoplastic material, eg. B. polyvinyl chloride, characterized in that the profile strips at those points against which the glass panels come to rest, first coated thinly with an adhesive based on synthetic rubber or neoprene and allowed to dry and then with the glass panels using a solvent-free ethoxylin resin, airtight and shockproof get connected.
