Verschluss für Behälter
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verschluss für Behälter mit eingezogenem Rand, wie Einsiedegläser u. dgl. bestehend aus einem unten ausgehöhlten Pfropfen aus elastischem Material, der einen über die Pfropfenoberseite vorstehenden Mantel aus Gummi od. dgl. besitzt, der über die Behälteroberkante umgelegt wird.
Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass der Pfropfen die Form eines hohlen, basisseitig offenen Kegelstumpfes hat, dessen äussere Mantelfläche bei Unterdruck im Behälter infolge Einbuchtung der Pfropfenplatte gegen die Einziehung des Behälterhalses gepresst wird.
Es wird dadurch ermöglicht, dass bei Überdruck im Behälter Dämpfe austreten können, während bei Unterdruck im Behälter durch den auf der Pfropfenplatte lastenden äusseren Überdruck ein sicherer Verschluss erreicht ist.
Die Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung beispielsweise dargestellt und zeigt Fig. 1 den Pfropfen im Längsschnitt und Fig. 2 einen mit dem Pfropfen verschlossenen Behälter.
Der bei 2 unterseitig ausgehöhlte Pfropfen 1 aus elastischem Material z. B. Gummi, hat die
Form eines basisseitig offenen Kegelstumpfes.
Mit 3 ist der Gummimantel bezeichnet, der in üblicher Weise über den Behälterrand umgelegt wird. Der umlaufende Mantelteil des Pfropfens l' legt sich nur linienhaft an die Einziehung 4 des Behälters an.
Tritt infolge Erwärmung des Behälterinhaltes im Behälter ein Überdruck auf, sc können die gebildeten Dämpfe zwischen der Einziehung 4 des Behälters und dem Pfropfen nach aussen entweichen, wobd sich der Pfropfen von der Einziehung leicht abhebt und auch der Mantel 3 leicht abgehoben wird. Nach Aufhören des Überdrucks im Behälter schliesst der Pfropfen und der Mantel sogleich wieder den Behälter dicht ab.
Der Pfropfen dient zum Verschluss von Behältern, in denen der Behälterinhalt einem Kochprozesse unterworfen wird, wie Einsiedegläsem u. dgl.
