Helm.
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Helm, insbesondere aus Metall, mit einem Tragreifen zur Befestigung der Trageinlagen und des Sturmbandes. Gemäss der Erfindung wird der Tragreifen als elastischer geschlossener Ring ausgebildet, der mit mit Löchern des Helmes in Eingriff zu bringenden Befestigungs- organen versehen ist, um den Ring samt Trageinlagen und Sturmband durch elastische Verformung desselben leicht in den Helm einsetzen und herausnehmen zu können. Als Befestigungsorgan zur Befestigung des Ringes im Helm können Nasen vorgesehen sein, welche beim Einsetzen des Ringes in Löcher oder Einkerbungen des Helmes einschnappen. Zweckmässig sind diese Nasen zylindrisch geformt und mit Rillen versehen, in welche die Wandungen der Helmlöcher eingreifen, so dass ein Loslösen des Ringes durch Zug am Sturmband vollständig ausgeschlossen ist.
Um den Ring bei den bei den einzelnen Helmen vielleicht nicht ganz gleichen Lochen oder Einkerbungen anpassen zu können, sind zweckmässig die Nasen oder einige derselben in am Ring angelenkten Schubern angeordnet, so dass dieselben verstellt und der Lage der Löcher angepasst werden können.
Als elastische Zwischeneinlage zwischen der Ledereinlage und dem Ring wird zweckmässig ein elastisches Band, z. B. aus Weichgummi, Latizel od. dgl., verwendet, wobei in diesem elastischen Band zweckmässig radial verlaufende L5cher vorgesehen sind, welche einerseits die Elastizität des elastischen Materials erhöhen, anderseits zur Befestigung desselben an dem Ring mittels eines Bandes dienen, zu welchem Zwecke im Ring gleichfalls Schlitze oder Löcher vorgesehen sind.
Auf der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in beispielsweiser Ausführungsform dargestellt.
Fig. 1 zeigt den Helm im Schnitt, Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht auf den herausgenommenen Ring, Fig. 3 und 4 zeigen Einzelheiten des Ringes.
In dem Stahlhelm 1 ist ein elastischer Metallring 2 angeordnet, welcher mit Nasen")', 4, 5 versehen ist. Die Nase. 3 sitzt hiebei unmittelbar am Ring 2 fest, während die Nasen 4 und 5 an verschiebbaren Schubern 6 und 7 festsitzen, welche um in den Ring 2 vorgesehene Nieten 8 verschwenkbar sind. Die Nase 3 ist mit Rillen 9 versehen, in welche bei in den Helm eingesetztem Ring die Wandungen der Löcher 10 eingreifen. Am Ring 2 ist ferner die übliche Ledereinlage 11 befestigt, ferner zwischen Ledereinlage und Ring eine elastische Zwischenlage aus einem Streifen 12 aus Schwammgummi oder Latizel. Dieser Gummistreifen 12 ist mit radial verlaufenden Löchern 13 versehen, welche zur Erhöhung der Elastizität des zweckmässig etwa 1 cm starken Streifens dienen.
Der Ring 2 ist ferner mit Schlitzen 15 versehen, um denselben mit dem Kautschukstreifen 12 mittels eines durch die Löcher 13 und die Schlitze 15 des Ringes 2 hindurchgezogenen Bandes 14 verbinden zu können. Am Ring 2 ist ferner eine Schnalle 16 zur Befestigung des Sturmbandes 17 angenietet.
Wie ersichtlich, enthält die Stahlform des Helmes keinerlei Einrichtungsteile und sind die für die Befestigung des alle Ausstattungsteile tragenden Ringes erforderlichen Löcher und Ausnehmungen ebenfalls in den gebräuchlichen Stahlhelmen vorhanden, so dass keinerlei Änderungen an den gebräuchlichen Helmen erforderlich sind. Selbstverständlich kann der Ring allen gebräuchlichen Helmformen angepasst werden.

The invention relates to a helmet, in particular made of metal, with a carrying hoop for fastening the carrying inserts and the storm strap. According to the invention, the carrying hoop is designed as an elastic closed ring which is provided with fastening elements to be brought into engagement with holes in the helmet in order to be able to easily insert and remove the ring together with the carrying inserts and storm strap by elastic deformation of the same in the helmet. As a fastening element for fastening the ring in the helmet, noses can be provided which snap into holes or notches in the helmet when the ring is inserted. These noses are expediently cylindrical in shape and provided with grooves into which the walls of the helmet holes engage, so that the ring cannot be detached by pulling on the storm strap.
In order to be able to adapt the ring to the holes or notches which are perhaps not quite the same in the individual helmets, the lugs or some of them are expediently arranged in sliders hinged on the ring so that they can be adjusted and adapted to the position of the holes.

In the steel helmet 1 there is arranged an elastic metal ring 2 which is provided with lugs ")", 4, 5. The lug 3 is fixed directly to the ring 2, while the lugs 4 and 5 are fixed to sliding sliders 6 and 7, which are pivotable about rivets 8 provided in the ring 2. The nose 3 is provided with grooves 9, in which the walls of the holes 10 engage when the ring is inserted into the helmet. The usual leather insert 11 is also attached to the ring 2, furthermore between the leather insert and ring, an elastic intermediate layer made from a strip 12 of sponge rubber or latizel. This rubber strip 12 is provided with radially extending holes 13 which serve to increase the elasticity of the strip, which is expediently about 1 cm thick.
The ring 2 is also provided with slots 15 in order to be able to connect the same to the rubber strip 12 by means of a band 14 pulled through the holes 13 and the slots 15 of the ring 2. A buckle 16 for fastening the storm strap 17 is also riveted to the ring 2.
As can be seen, the steel shape of the helmet does not contain any equipment and the holes and recesses required for fastening the ring carrying all the equipment are also present in the conventional steel helmets, so that no changes to the conventional helmets are necessary. Of course, the ring can be adapted to all common helmet shapes.
