Shut-off device for gas (steam) or liquid lines.
The invention relates to a shut-off device for gas (vapor) or liquid lines, in which a rollable body serves as a closing element, and consists in that means, for. B. teeth, pins or the like. Are provided, which interact with associated elements of the pad or other fixed parts and prevent sliding of the rolling element during rolling.
Shut-off devices are known in which valve balls close off the round inlet or outlet openings of lines and, for the purpose of releasing these openings, are rolled from their seat by the action of force. Cylindrical Abehlusskörper made of elastic material for float valves, especially in drain cisterns, have been proposed, which are freely rotatable about their axis and roll over the mouth of the outflow opening when the float moves upwards.

the seat 16 forming the edge of the opening rests and seals the opening tightly. The inlet opening 13 'is expediently located below the upper edge of the float, so that inflowing condensation water can never get into the float, but always directly into the lower collecting space 17.
The water rises in pot 12 to level B, at which the buoyancy of the swimmer

in the pot, at which the pressures on the float and the cylinder, such as steam pressure and water pressure together with the float weight, are canceled by the buoyancy. At this moment the swimmer 14 jumps up and the roller 15 rolls to the right,
EMI2.2
Condensation water flows through them until the water level in the pot has dropped back to HI, at which point the float weight, increased by steam pressure and water pressure, exceeds the buoyancy again and the roller 15 therefore rolls back into its position shown and is pressed onto the seat .
To prevent the roller from sliding during movement, each of the forehead

thereby act in the manner described in the explanation of FIG.
The air driven into the pipelines before the steam or water has the possibility of collecting condensate in the bag 28 of the float 14 through the venting and draining nozzle 23 firmly connected to the float 14 and inserted tightly into the cylinder 15 and the adjoining bore 24 to get into the condensation line 13 ″.
One or more transverse ribs 25, 25 'are arranged on the bottom of the pot 12, on which the float 14 rests in the closed position of the roller 15. The transverse ribs have passages 26 for the purpose of conveying the water to the opening 13 ″. The dirt and sludge of the water settles in the spaces 17, 17 'in front of and between the individual ribs and can, if necessary, through the drainage openings 27, 27' Only purified water reaches the drainage point 1.3 "or the actual drainage space 17".
