EMI1.1
The invention relates to printing devices for weighing scales and, more particularly, to such printing devices used with rotating weight indicators. and aims to create a pressure device that is simple in construction, the operation of which is reliably guaranteed and which can be arranged on all existing scales of the above type without having to make special changes to the scales. Scales are already known in which the printing device has a pair of pivotable parts by means of which a tape or a card can be pressed against a type surface which is carried, for example, by the rotatable part of the display device.
The invention consists in the fact that these pivotable members, of which one carries a partially acting advancing device for the ink ribbon and the other the pressure plate and the actuating elements for the vertically acting advancing device, are connected to one another at their upper end and are normally held apart by means of springs while their lower ends are encompassed by a common actuating lever provided with cam surfaces, these cam surfaces cooperating with organs provided on the pivotable members in such a way that the pivotable members are moved against each other for the purpose of taking an impression when the common pressure lever is moved downwards.
An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the pressure device according to the invention on a balance, of which only what is necessary for understanding the invention is shown, in a view partially in section. The printing device is in the printing position. Fig. 2 is a side view, partly in section, of the printing device; Fig. 3 is a view, partly in section, of the printing device in the rest position.
The known balance construction shown in the drawing has a weight display device which consists of a rotating drum which interacts with a fixed index arranged on the housing 7. The entire display device is contained in the housing 7, the index and the division on the drum being visible through a window 7a provided in the housing 7. According to the invention, the shaft 5b carrying the drum is elongated at one end and here carries a disk 5, on one surface of which a ring 5a is arranged on the circumferential edge, the surface of which is divided and provided with a number.
The division and the designation can be produced on the ring, preferably by means of etching or electrochemical means.

Bush is mounted, hang the ends of a pair of parts 9 and 10, the middle parts of which comprise the adjacent portion of the rotatable disc 5 and the ring 5a. The surface of the pivotable part 9 is provided adjacent to the type surface with a pressure pointer 9a in the form of an arrow. The other pivotable part 10 can be pressed against the weighing card 11 and the ink ribbon 12 in order to bring them into contact with the type and the pressure arrow. The pivotable part 10 is further provided with two pairs of arms 10a and 10b, which are arranged one above the other and which carry the axes 13, 14 for the take-up and unwinding spools 15, 16 of the ink ribbon.
The ribbon runs between guides over the surface of the plates adjacent to the type surface. The upper

standing pawl 17 work together, which is pivotably mounted on the other pivotable part 9. At their lower ends, the parts 9 and 10 are provided with recesses in which

The operation of the pressure device is as follows: When the balance is in equilibrium, a card is inserted into the card slot and button 19b on the pressure lever is pressed down.
This movement causes the cam surfaces 19a to swing downward in the jaw-like ends of the forked pressure lever, and the like. between the balls stepping outwards'. As a result, the pivotable parts are moved against each other and causes the plate arranged on one of the pivotable parts and the opposite surface of the other pivotable part to press the control room 11 against the ink ribbon 12, the type area Yes and the pressure pointer 9a. After releasing the pressure
