Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Hahn, insbesondere für Wasserleitungen, dessen Gehäuse aus zwei im Wesen symmetrischen, aus Blech gepressten Hälften besteht, deren Kanten durch Schienen miteinander vereinigt sind. Dieses Gehäuse ist leicht und billig herstellbar und zeichnet sich durch geringes
Gewicht und grosse Widerstandsfähigkeit aus.
Die Zeichnung stellt eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes dar, u. zw. zeigt Fig. 1 einen derartigen Hahn im Schnitt und Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht auf das Gehäuse des Hahnes.
Das Gehäuse 1 des Hahnes besteht aus zwei symmetrischen Hälften 2 und 3, die durch Schienen 4 zusammengehalten sind. Durch Schweissung werden die Schienen mit den Gehäuseteilen dicht ver- bunden. Auf die Einströmöffnung 5 des Hahnes wird ferner ein Abschlussring 6 und auf die Öffnung für die Spindel 7 ein Ring 8 aufgesetzt. Diese Ringe werden mit dem Gehäuse ebenfalls durch Schweissung verbunden. Zur Versteifung des Gehäuses und zur Aufnahme des Ventilsitzes 11 dient ein rohrförmiger
Körper 9, der dicht in den Ring 6 eingesetzt ist und mit einem Gewindeansatz 10 zum Einschrauben des
Hahnes in die Leitung versehen ist.
In den Ring 8 ist die Mutter 12 eingeschraubt, die ein Gewinde für die Spindel Y träRt und am unteren Ende ihrer Bohrung eine konische Fläche 13 aufweist. Zwischen diese Fläche und die Spindel 7 ist eine elastische Stulpe 14 eingelegt, die die Spindel umschliesst. Auf die Spindel ist eine Mutter 15 aufgeschraubt, gegen-die sich der verlängerte Stulpenhals stützt. Der Ventilteller 16 ist mit seinem Bolzen 17 lose in die Spindel eingesetzt. Wird die Spindelin die Höhe geschraubt, so wird die sich gegen die Mutters abstützende Stulpe 14 dichtend gegen die Gegenfläche 13 und damit auch gegen die Spindel selbst gedrückt und dieser Druck wird noch durch den bei geöffnetem Hahn auf die Stulpe wirkenden Flüssigkeitsdruck vermehrt.
