Aschenbecher.

Ashtray.
The subject of the invention is an ashtray, in which a hood provided with a central opening can be firmly wedged into a water container and has an annular storage recess.
EMI1.1
same.
The ashtray consists of two parts 1 and 2, which lie close together and form a water chamber 3.
The hood 1 has a conical outer surface, in the middle of its ceiling an opening 4 and a recess 5 arranged around the water chamber, in such a way that between the opening 4 and the recess 5 a support 7 for the smoking material, which is expediently provided with radial grooves 6, is created .
In the support part 7 inclined depressions 8 can be provided, into which the burning end of the deposited cigarette or the like can be inserted in order to extinguish it and prevent annoying smoke development.
The lower part 2 forms the bottom of the water receiving space 3 and its side wall 21 tapers conically on its inner surface towards the upper edge so that the hood 1 with its correspondingly conical outer surface can be inserted tightly into the lower part 2.
After the hood has been inserted into the lower part, the upper edge of the side wall of the lower part is overlapped by the outer edge of the hood. This hood edge therefore forms the outer asehenbeeherrand.
A placed cigarette will never fall outwards, not even if the ashtray is shaken, but it will either fall into the water chamber 3 and then go out or into the annular space 5 surrounding it.
