   Die Erfindung betrifft einen   Rauchgasvorwärmer   mit   waagrecht   liegenden   Rippenrohren. Sie   bezweckt einen Vorwärmer zu schaffen, der den Anforderungen der Hochdruckdampferzeugung Rechuung trägt. Zu diesem Zwecke bedient sich die Erfindung teils an Vorwärmern, teils an anderen   Wärmeaustausch-   vorrichtungen an sich bekannter Mittel, die in ihrer Vereinigung den Vorwärmer gegen hohe innere   Drücke   widerstandsfähig machen und gleichzeitig die   Aufnahmefähigkeit für   die Wärme erheblich steigern. Die Rohre   des wagreeht gelagerten Vorwärmers nach der Erfindung   sind mit angegossenen Rippen versehen, die eine quadratische Form haben und geschlossene Leitwände für die Gase ergeben.
